Flame of Truth - Plamen Pravdy: Akce pro Tibet 2012. The Czech keeper of the dog wrote, it is she, Tibetan mastiff, her name is Birra, and her parents are from Kham. Perhaps her next puppy will be born for Loten Namling-la (on the picture), the Tibetan singer, musician, Buddhist practicioner and activist fighting for Tibet rights. The monk on the picture holding the Flame of Truth is Thubtän Wangcchen-la, the director of the Tibet house in Barcelona.

If I just replace the bottom case which also got bent itll total 200 dollars. but to fix the bottom case and get a replacement screen it will amount to 900 dollars. Ugh. Any suggestions? please what do you guys think i should do? I love my mac :(

Assignment: Create a headshot for press releases and other uses for a new marketing director.
This is a headshot I did recently. Finally decided to leave the studio lights at home and just use my Nikon SB-800 flashes. I will need some more practice to be sure I don't end up with shadows in the future. This client needs about 40 more headshots done this summer. Becasue they are an organization that focuses on the outdoors, they want them all shot outside.
Lighting was 3 Nikon SB800 flash units on manual; 2 on stands with small (12" x 16") soft boxes. One was at half power just behind and to camera left for the background (westcott twist flex). The second was also to camera left and ahead of her to light her face. The third was on my camera bracket set at 1/4 or 1/2 power off a bounce card (either way, I think I needed to bring it up one more stop). On the other side of her, there was a white board that worked as fill, she is about 18" from that side wall. She is about 6' in front of the backdrop and I am about 3 or 4 feet back.
Manual exposure 1/125th at 6.3. I don't know why, but I did not do a custom white balance, I usually do.
