When publishing changes, so does society. Investigate and compare the impact of two publication technologies, one pre-1900 and one post-2000, on a specific aspect of society (e.g. education, politics, creative industries, science, entertainment, social relationships).
We moved into our new workshop at the start of 2022. We’ve added some more type to it now, but it’s nice to look back a year later!
By this point in US history, intricate machines like this printing press were being manufactured in Country. While trade would always be a key aspect of American life, the United States was coming into it's own.

My visit to "The Making of Harry Potter" at the Warner Bro Studios in Watford. An amazing day getting to see the sets, their models and the costumes used in the Harry Potter films. An invaluable experience.
Printing press has evolved in terms of technology (e.g. digitalisation) and techniques. Influence would continue as people still read, both printed and digital materials would still be used (prices for books are getting cheaper to match their digital counterparts) – digitalisation of print would not have existed if the printing press was not invented. The printing press is still referenced as an important milestone today.
I have recently gained access to a small printing press and have started learning how to use it with my simpler designs. I find the process enjoyable but challenging at the same time, I hope to be able to move onto more complex designs soon.
