I can't actually remember how I did this! I did a woodcut of the same mantis so perhaps it is from that, but adapted somehow.
The printing press derived from movable type printing. It is even more faster and easier than the previous two devices. Mechanised by Johannes Gutenberg in 1450, the printing press lead to a revolution.

Flash photography was not permitted and a tripod would have been intrusive to others, so a conventional camera was a non-starter for this and many other photos on this occasion. However, my smartphone came to the rescue and performed well.
