This was scanned at 4800 dpi and resized to 2400 dpi, because the differences were still obvious. Although the dots pattern is clearly visible in this magnification, you can click on "All Sizes" and then "Original" to see the difference.
I was quite satisfied with the RX620, but I am thrilled with the RX580. Without using magnification, I can not see the dot pattern on either print, but the RX580 gives a visibly sharper image. If you can limit yourself to 8½" x 11" sheets, this is a very highly recommended printer.

Would have made the lid open and using SNOT techniques given more time, but that’s always the kicker, isn’t it? More time!

Playing around with a DIY light box thingy. Unfortunatly, the light source isn't that great. And I didn't have any other paper than printer paper to make the backdrop.
A 3D printer manufactures a cylindrical design for bioreactor models. "Cynlindrical ones have proven to the best so far," Gupta said of bioreactor models. The team has also tried other designs, including 3D printed cubes or loose feather-like material. Ideally, the best design maximizes the surface area on which enzyme can be bound and biocatalytic reactions can take place. | Phillip Sitter, Bond LSC
A co-worker sent this to our office recently:
"Don't you hate it when your printer jams? He's not dead but he's sure stuck. They do end up getting him out and letting him loose for those of you that are mouse lovers. How'd you like to get to work and find this problem?"

The Vivitar Slide Printer is a plastic box (1970s - 1990s) that was used to transfer a slide to a Polaroid print. The unit I have looks to be a late 80's / early 90s model. Insert the slide, hit the button and "poof" - image is flashed to the "Polaroid back" on top.
I used a Kodachrome 200 slide and Fujifilm FP-100c Instant Film. All of my prints were overexposed (on every exposure setting). Frustrated, I started inserting ND gels in-between the slide.
