The Gallery offered printmaking workshops with Sarah as part of Education Week. The grade 4 students were lucky enough to participate in this wonderful art making experience.
A big thankyou to Tianee Hurst, Giselle Allgood, Kylie Milne, Mila Jamison, and Cassanda Woods for their help on the day. Without the support of parents these opportunities would not be possible.
Also from the Artroom (the NEW Artroom) a big thankyou to Sally Hamilton and Leanne and Ian McCready for their assistance with moving the artroom. This was (and still is) an incredibly large task, so we are very grateful for the extra pairs of hands (and minds).

I am in love with printmaking!!! Seriously one of the best new things I have learned how to do as of recent.
This is a copper etching using etching, dry point, and soft ground.
Seriously can't wait to do more.
Breathing, Standing and Biting is how I get through the days.
Brennan and I tried out home-spun printmaking this weekend and were pretty ecstatic about the results. It looks so cool! And you can do it in your kitchen! Thanks, Hannah, for inspiration.

Print by Lila, 8. Reduction printmaking is awesome! Carve a design in foam, print it, carve more lines out, then over print 2 or more times. Such a magical process for all.

This is a double page spread in the story showing our old farm after an ice storm.
For my honor's thesis, I wrote a story and illustrated it with linocuts. These are a few of the illustrations from the book.
It is being published and will be for sale on my website, on Amazon.com and on Barnes/Nobles in July.
