SOS Children's Villages is the largest children's charity. The year 2009 marked their 60th anniversary. In preparation, I crafted a 60th Anniversary logo. And then, I art directed and produced a anniversary edition of their Village Voices newsletter.
The newsletter is intended be something of a keepsake, making use of the extensive photo library of SOS, long articles and snippets of historical information. I created a layout that had lots of point of engagement — timelines, factoids, country lists.
Design is clean and contemporary while respecting the organizations impressive history.

The province i live in is a bit disconnected from the rest of the Netherlands (borderwise). It is often spoken of as neglected and i don't think people are aware of the area's potential.
So i decided as a selfpromo and as a promotion for the beautiful area i live in, to make an infographic-poster about Zuid Limburg.
It includes various facts and numbers showing that it is actually a very interesting province in many ways.
Centro Slab Pro is an award-winning typeface. It received a Gold Award from the European Design Awards 2008 as part of the Centro Pro type system which has become very popular among printed media and is ideal choice for newspapers, magazines and corporate applications.
