Coral Garden was inspired by the beautiful floral-like formations of real coral and anemones. This is the largest print in the collection and it took over a month to draw.
MCDC has done amazing work helping small businesses throughout Montana, but they needed to find a way to let people know about it. We developed the positioning line, "When businesses grow, communities prosper." We followed it up with "the orange dot" campaign, where we created a sticker for local merchants that have received support from MCDC. They put the sticker on their bags or their doors or, in one case, the sleeve they sell their bread in, and soon everyone could see exactly what MCDC was responsible for in Missoula. Since then we've helped to effectively build the MCDC brand and people's awareness of it. Finally, the world is recognizing all the meaningful work that the good folks at MCDC do every single day for small businesses with big ideas.
I travelled to Portland to help curate a live music event featuring Magic Fades, Soul Ipsum, Choongum, U.S. Hard and Monopoly Child. I designed a 11" x 17" poster for the show; this is the Facebook Event image used for additional online promotion.

This is certificate designed for the Cooperstown Art Association to be used as both an award certificate for various juried exhibitions and a gift certificate for patrons to purchase through the gallery. I designed it to function as either when filled in with calligraphy. It is art nouveau inspired and I rendered it in Adobe Illustrator from my original drawing, incorporating the gallery logo. I also applied this design to signage and posters.
