Typography experiment using real objects to create a 3D typeface. I wanted to explore the materials used to make audio cassette tapes, in this case the specific tape ribbon known as "Ferric".
Synergy Church is a church plant in Santa Barbara, CA. Right now, they are pre-launch and are doing marketing campaigns to get the church name out in the community.
This is an oversized postcard that was mailed out. They wanted this first mailer to have little detail. More suspenseful and intriguing than informative.

To achieve this look, we used 1-color offset printing and letterpress only on the envelope flap. There are a total of five components: cover design, wedding info card, map/RVSP card, die-cut key and A7 envelope, and they are all printed on Crane's Letra Pearl White 21pt. The three main cards are held together by a single black ribbon and accented by a hint of green in the key design.
