One of the standout parts of summer is sitting on the dock, feet dangling in the water, watching the sun set in a beautiful blaze of color. Life is pretty sweet in those moments. It's even better if you have your best friend along with you. I've been married to mine for 21 years in a couple of weeks, and I wouldn't trade her for anything. Companionship is a beautiful thing! Prince Edward the Duke of Kent re-dedicated the American Air Museum at Duxford following its refurbishment.
Wellington Town Hall dates from 1882 and was built to serve as a schoolhouse. It became Wellington's Town Hall in the early 1900s. / Le bâtiment de l'hotel de ville de Wellington date de 1882 et a été construit pour servir d'école et est devenu la mairie de Wellington au début des années 1900.

For a long long long time, I wanted to capture Hong Kong from the Lions Point of View. A big mountain with on top the shape of a lion, dividing Kowloon with the New Territories. I already went to this spot before, but wasn't able to capture some good shots due to the constant haze.
Last weekend, the air was finally clean for a while so I decided to go there again for some evening shots.It was quite a hike going up, around 20 mins with my gear, 33 degrees of hotness and a high humidity. Not the best conditions to go hiking up a mountain. But after all, it was worth it!

This picture was taken while enroute from Chicago to Prestwick/Scotland when the aircraft was overflying the Gulf of Saint Lawrence in Canada (ref. flickr map view).

One of the most exciting times of the year for many children and teens is summer camp. The long evenings around the campfire, or, in this case, on the lake as the summer sun fades over the horizon.
