Dinner, October 12. I don't often eat red meat nowadays, but this was very well prepared. There was a woman at my table complaining that it was rare. I didn't say anything, although I did want to say, "Well, that's how prime rib is prepared." Then a Canadian at our table said, "In the states they ask you how you want your meat cooked!" as if that was the strangest thing he'd ever heard. And so I felt a little justified though I was glad I kept my thoughts to myself!
Prime rib french dip sandwich. At this point, we were a bit too full, so we just had a few bites and saved the rest for the next morning.
