Bar Cabinet Project - After sanding I applied a coat of primer on every surface.
Primer used was Zinsser Bulls Eye 1.2.3. Worked like a charm.

This is the printable (as in, composed for printing and framing) version of a output from something I wrote to visualize the progression of the prime numbers. The red stripe represents the least significant bit - the 1s place - of all the primes. To keep the bits (roughly) square, the spiral's rate of expansion must be such that each turn is (roughly) the width of the number of bits for that prime.
There are equations that estimate the size of the nth prime, which I used, but I'll leave it to your imagination how it all works in such a way that I have a radial function for all of this...
