Using a custom patch in Max/MSP/Jitter, each frame of video is analyzed with the previous. Each frame is then reduced to only the advancing (or new) pixels. By displaying only the new pixels, the video itself is reduced to only the important elements needed to describe movement. The video portion of this project can be found at vimeo.com/album/106362
These images are compilations of all of the pixels displayed in this video analysis.

Here’s a preview of a BJD accessory experiment I’ve been trying. ^^; Mostly trial and error stuff (in the absence of proper fabric stiffener, I’m trying other methods). I saw how to make it in a DIY blog, great for human costumes, but I’m trying it for dolls. :)
Lucy here is wearing my first prototype. ^^; It’s just a prototype for now, still trying other things but if it works, I can produce it to sell to ManikaManila’s tiangge. :)
I'm proud to say our theater only ran "green" or "orange" label previews... no red. In other words - general audience (not adult-only) previews.
Studios and advertisers would provide little reels of film that we'd calculate and build into the film itself - part of the continuous play of film that includes previews and advertisements.
