View of the Mosel river from the Prinzenkopf lookout tower, it's a wonderful viewpoint all year, but on a clear autumn day it feels even more special, my plan is to back there next month, not to the same viewpoint, there are so many spots with spectacular views around there, the problem is the weather, low clouds are drawn to the valley like flies to shit when the vineyards are are at their most colorful, but there can be bright spells in the afternoon, hoping for the best.
Check out these leggings! The textures are incredible and, as they are BOM and come in a tonne of colours, I will be wearing them with everything . This is a sneak preview of the leggings as they will become available to purchase on October 1st at FAMESHED. Until then, you can demo the leggings (and buy the top, skirt and boots) at the main store. ❤️

With the reaping winds came
coldness,
the coldess that crawled from
the heart
of the wind- weak kiss of the
winter queen,
storming through the autumnal
trees ...

Back in 2014 I gained access to the bankrupt Factory of Thermphos. One of the last Phosphor Factories in the world. It is now completely demolished. I got the opportunity to visit the plant as much as I wanted, day and night. This gave me the time to really make a connection to the Factory. I was able to personify the different buildings, making 'portraits' of places in a respectful, non-judgemental way. I found a Factory that was still fighting to continue to work.
This is my ongoing project about the influence of human on their (in)direct environment. How we try to make a place or space personal.

I have a story and several photos I took at the amazing, unique, wonderful and absolutely huge Fantasy Faire event. I just wanted to give you this quick preview because there is only on day of FF and I want to encourage you all to take advantage and see it. It's my favourite event and the one I wait for all year.

Marraquesh Night Market Loreena McKennitt
They're gathered in circles
the lamps light their faces
The crescent moon rocks in the sky
The poets of drumming
keep heartbeats suspended
The smoke swirls up and then dies
Would you like my mask?
would you like my mirror?
cries the man in the shadowing hood
You can look at yourself
you can look at each other
or you can look at the face, the face of your god
The stories are woven
and fortunes are told
The truth is measured by the weight of your gold
The magic lies scattered
on rugs on the ground
Faith is conjured in the night market's sound
Would you like my mask?
would you like my mirror?
cries the man in the shadowing hood
You can look at yourself
you can look at each other
or you can look at the face, the face of your god
The lessons are written
on parchments of paper
They're carried by horse from the river Nile
says the shadowy voice
In the firelight, the cobra
is casting the flame a winsome smile
Would you like my mask?
would you like my mirror?
cries the man in the shadowing hood
You can look at yourself
you can look at each other
or you can look at the face, the face of your god
Loreena writes in the CD booklet about this song:
March 16, 1993 - Arrived tonight in Marrakesh and am staying on the edge of the market. It is Ramadan and there is heightened activity all around. I am struck by the hooded features of men as they pass through the lights and shadows: they look monk-like. Horses, carriages, cars, bicycles and thousands of people are embroiled in the activities of the night ... a cacophony of sound. I retreat to a rooftop café to watch while sipping mint tea ... many circles of twenty or so people are scattered around the market, each involved in their own drama of music, storytelling monkeys on men's shoulders, or cobras being coaxed to "dance" on rugs; "magic" concoctions of bone, seeds, stones and spices are sold ... women are veiled to a great degree ... I am stuck by the sense of intrigue the environment creates; as much is concealed as is revealed ...

Guess who got actual preview copies of SQUIDGIRLS into his hot little hands today?
Yup, it's *almost* here...
I should almost certainly have the first copies available for the London MCM Expo ( May 29th-30th and if you want one they'll cost £35, not cheap, sorry! ) and it'll have it's US debut at Heroes con down in Charlotte, North Carolina ( June 4th-6th )
There are 3 cover versions, Humboldt, Colossal and Kraken... only one of which will be available eventually on my website. You'll have to grab one at a con if you want the other two covers! ( And a much cheaper option anyway, considering postage. )
And yup, tip in plate, signed and numbered with original sketch in each one of these suckers.
Now back to the grind stone. Part 2 preview coming soon.
Hope you guys like what you see. Huzzah!
