Unfortunately my Tinian Dio came of track after the final tests of the year, but now it is summer and I'm happy to announce it is back on track!
As promised, part twoooooo.
Guess who got actual preview copies of SQUIDGIRLS into his hot little hands today?
Yup, it's *almost* here...
I should almost certainly have the first copies available for the London MCM Expo ( May 29th-30th and if you want one they'll cost £35, not cheap, sorry! ) and it'll have it's US debut at Heroes con down in Charlotte, North Carolina ( June 4th-6th )
There are 3 cover versions, Humboldt, Colossal and Kraken... only one of which will be available eventually on my website. You'll have to grab one at a con if you want the other two covers! ( And a much cheaper option anyway, considering postage. )
And yup, tip in plate, signed and numbered with original sketch in each one of these suckers.
Now back to the grind stone. Part 2 preview coming soon.

Preview of my upcoming figure, a soviet foot soldier, the camo was made using Jon's digital camo carving technique, however its been a couple of months since I last touched my paints and my first time doing the carving technique, hence it isn't really as detailed as I wanted it to be, might redo it sometime in the future.
All that's left to do for him is to carve his boots, vest and hat.

This is the only normal, glamor-like shot from the set, I promise.
So my expectations of this big event were proven true. The expectations being: I don't have the right gear for it (no competent telephoto lens), and though I had an Artist pass, access to good angles when shooting the performances would be highly restricted.
Even if I was Typecast's official photographer that night.
Oh well. This photo is for Tirong. Argh, didn't even get MY wanted-photo that night. Of who? Uhm, Iya Villania. Is Karel out of the MYX VJ lineup already? :(

This is the first project that I designed (under Bergman, Walls and Associate Architects) that has been built on the Las Vegas Strip... sad thing is it will become an ABC Store once the Fontainebleau Casino is completed.
Need to retake this photo during the morning hours for my design portfolio... probably be a whole lot better than compared to being in the shade.
Ok, so here is my new custom!
She was a Kaela su-chan sent me. She has undergone a lot of changes and I'm quite happy with the result.
