A preview of the forthcoming look for my website. There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm hoping it will be ready by the new year.

The Class of 2012 got its first taste of college life at PREVIEW in June. A precursor to fall orientation, PREVIEW gives incoming freshmen and their families a chance to meet and mingle during campus tours, small-group sessions, socials and an overnight stay in the residence halls. Learn more about our resources for new students.

Preview '12 at Illinois State University

Here are some in-progress preview shots of a few pieces from my upcoming show 'Happy Endings' at the Shooting Gallery in San Francisco this June. The show will feature over 50 new original works, ranging in size from 12" x 12" to upwards of 9' x 6'.

This is what I use when I need to lay out very parallel lines. The ruler is etched with holes spaced every 1/128". THe holes are etched for the right size for a 0.5mm mechanical pencil lead. You stick your pencil in there and slide the entire ruler up and down like a T-Square if you need to mark a parallel line to an edge.

Dead on accurate if you know how to use a T-Square. I started drafting in Hong Kong at the age of 12 with one... before CAD became popular...

Sadly, I still use inch in my shop, more than I'd like due to carpentry work that I sometimes do. My day job just decided to standardize to metric for our engineering, and most of my measurement tools are dual-calibrated.
