During our Oktoberfest celebration, over 23,000 soft pretzels are consumed. That's a whole lotta' dough! Here, a worker unloads several racks of freshly-made soft pretzels from the Servatii Pastry delivery truck at this year's Oktoberfest Zinzinnati.
This is my 4th version of P, first time this project I've used 4 different things to get the right one...all the others so far have been done with my first choice.

Now, before the new year arrives, I have something colourful for you: the Red Arrows! :D
On our summer holidays this year, we have been to the Wings and Wheels show and watched all those amazing planes and helicopters doing crazy tricks up in the air. The day was sunny and super hot. So in the end, after a nice day, we were totally dehydrated and had a bit of a sunstroke (actually not only a bit). But our English friend convinced us to stay just a little longer for the final show of the Red Arrows. And it was so worth it! They topped everything we had seen before. So here you can see 4 of the (I think) 9 planes doing a weird Pretzel thing up in the air.

Hoje me ousei a fazer Pretzel.Receita: 6 col(rasa)de açucar;2 tabletes de fermento fresco;2 col(bem cheias de margarina sem sal);1 Xic de água;1 Gema;1 OVO inteiro;1col (café) de sal;3 xic e meia de Farinha de Trigo(Obs:Eu coloquei mais farinha do que pede na receita e deixei no ponto da massa não grudar nas mãos);água filtrada para pindelar;.Modo de fazer: Dissolva o açucar no fermento já na batedeira.Acrescente o restante dos ingredientes exceto a farinha e continuar batendo.Ainda batendo vá acrescentando às colheiradas a farinha.Deslique e sove a massa.Deixa dobrar de volume.Faça cordões de massa com 1 com de altura e 60cm de comprimento.Modele o pretzel e coloque na assadeira untada e enfarinhada.Antes pincele água filtrada em cada uma.Leve pra assar em forno à 200 graus.Pré aquecido.Depois de assados pincele margarina derretida e passe no açucar com canela.Fica ótimo.Hoje foi nosso café da tarde.

I love how her eyes look in this. She watched me snap the Polaroid of her brother with the ring pop and all she had was a bowl of pretzels but it worked.
