The first time I encountered Pretty Ballerinas was at their boutique in Barcelona with CT. At the time I was looking for flats as these Velvet Angels (Opal) were delayed in order due to the freak snow storm that hit Eastern North America. Long story short, I was thrilled to find this shop but was distracted from looking at any of the products lining the compact, vaulted ceiling stocked pink shelves due to a ditty we heard on the radio (the first either of us had heard Duck Sauce's Barbara Streisand). I regretted it after, but had we ended our search for shoes, I would have have encountered this pair of Muxart London.
Fast forward a year later. The first pairs of Pretty Ballerinas (and Charlotte Olympias - here the Pollys) arrive in Toronto. The "acquisition" is delayed, but not forgotten. Happy to note that not only are they pretty cute, my Rosarios are pretty comfortable.
This pair of ballerinas have a low cut vamp (to show a touch of toe cleavage) in addition to a 0.5 cm heel. The shoe itself is composed of a soft grey and cream snake printed leather with beige coloured trim; it's also christened with Pretty Ballerinas' signature rope bow.
Looking forward to breaking these out when the weather is warm.
My Pink ‘N Pretty Barbie was one of the very first black dolls I got that was made before my lifetime, was a Steffie sculpt and was a trade item from @dollsahoy so she’s pretty special to me. She initially got a Liv body but when I found this Pivotal Pop Life body it had to be hers and she’s been on it ever since. The articulation wasn’t the very best but I liked how it made her the tallest of my black female dolls and upgrading her didn’t seem like an option even if the skin tone match was off.
However I realised this Black skin tone Dynamite Girls body was the exact same height as the Pivotal body AND it was a better match to Christie so I guess she’s finally on her forever body.
Malibu Christie got a MTM body which isn’t perfect but close enough, and my Janay head got the Pivotal because it’s the only body with an orange undertone that matches her head.
So I acetone shrunk my Janay head in a mixture of 75% acetone to 25% water and her features seem fine even after I roughly handled her head rerooting. Her head was soft enough for me to just plug in hair without needing to make holes first with a pin and I filled up her hair in a spiral pattern just to give her more coverage.
She’s wearing a hat for now to train her hair down because her head is super squishy still and I don’t want to boil her until her head is back to being hardened.
Also she’s on her body as a way to keep her neck hole from shrinking too much and me being required to carve it out. This guarantees I’ll have an airtight fit when her head shrinks entirely.
Well you certainly wouldn't miss this bus coming!
Carrying the 'mTickets' branding for smarter ways to pay.
Ex Northern Ireland RKZ4760 is now a driver trainer in the WoE fleet.
A shame this fine type is gradually disappearing from our streets, unusual for the B7RLE as it was dual door being an ex airport bus.....

This pretty little dark eyed junco bird was quite proud of its cuteness and posed for many shots before moving on to the bird feeder to retrieve his pay for modeling.
Thanks for viewing.
Hope you like it!
Hot off a sweet senior portrait session, Joshua and Kristen, along with their friends Johnny and Kinsleigh, let me be their prom night paparazzi! Beautiful :)

The same Pretty Lady from the Hobby Convention last year. She is back again this year, as stunning as ever.
