A 51-foot tall cylindrical, steel lighthouse was built at this location on the South Pier, Grand Haven, Michigan in 1905. The outlying front light and fog signal building was added in 1922.
Though the air was relatively still and it was a bright sunny morning, waves were high enough to make the pier wet and slippery. On stormy days, the waves can be very high, dangerously washing over the pier, making the lighted catwalk to the lighthouse an important feature.

I chose this simple image because Water and life are represented in it. The water so precious on earth, essential to life, and this group of flamingos still called "flamboyance" The shot was taken in the Camargue (France ), lying on the ground. It is the only place in Europe where these animals breed.
They populate the marshes and ponds by feeding on small molluscs, crustaceans, insects, larvae, algae contained in the mud. A shrimp artemia salina, give them their pink color.
Due to global warming, the sea level is rising. Storms will become more numerous? The Camargue will one day be threatened?
With imagination, if pink flamingos could speak, they might seem to be saying this to us: "Let's all act together against global warming to help limit the harmful impacts on biodiversity and preserve the wonders of the Earth!"

Du fait du réchauffement climatique ,le niveau de la mer augmente ..les tempêtes vont devenir plus nombreuses ?la Camargue un jour menacée ?
Avec de l'imagination ,si les flamants roses avaient la parole ils sembleraient peut être nous dire ceci :" agissons tous ensemble contre le réchauffement climatique pour permettre de limiter les impacts néfastes sur la biodiversité et préserver les merveilles de la Terre !"

La Vie semblait monter à l’assaut du Grand Néant
Cette montagne morte qui trônait au centre de Terra Nova, un haut-plateau de Poësia…
Des milliers d’arbres et de plantes cherchant à coloniser le moindre replis de cet espace de non-vie, comme autant de combattants sur un champ de bataille.

Cette vision conquérante de la vie telle que nous la connaissons est typiquement humaine. Elle se nourrit à la fois de la culture populaire (science-fiction) et de la Science, elle-même, légitimement curieuse de trouver des signes de vie au-delà de la Terre (ETI). Nous voulons y croire! Mais, pour l’instant…

Là-bas, le Grand Néant résistait à l’expansion de la végétation, son environnement hostile étant impropre à la vie telle que nous la connaissons… sauf, peut-être, dans ses expressions les plus simples, de l’ordre de la molécule…
Debout sur le promontoire qui me permettait d’observer les forces en présence, les questions se bousculaient dans ma tête: Le Néant serait-il l’état dominant de l’Univers? La vie organique - qui plus est, ses formes intelligentes - serait-elle une situation exceptionnelle, un événement hautement improbable sur la lente trajectoire de l’évolution? Et la question essentielle dont je redoutais la réponse: Serions-nous seul dans l’Univers?
Si cette hypothèse devait faire son chemin dans le torrent du temps , une réalité pressante, existentielle s’imposerait alors à tous les enfants de Darwin: la vie sur Terre, sous toutes ses formes, est un héritage extrêmement précieux et nous avons, en tant qu’espèce intelligente, l’immense responsabilité de la préserver.

Standing on the promontory that allowed me to observe the present forces, the questions rush in my head: Would Nothingness be the dominant state of the Universe? Could organic life - moreover, its intelligent forms - be an exceptional situation, a highly improbable event on the slow trajectory of evolution? And the essential question I dreaded the answer to: Are we alone in the Universe?
If this hypothesis were to find its way through time, a pressing, existential reality would then impose itself on all of Darwin's children: life on Earth, in all its forms, is an extremely precious heritage we have, and us, the intelligent species, have the immense responsibility to preserve it.

Good morning everyone. I would like to be gone fishin' but instead I'm heading to my desk which is about 6 steps away from my bed. As you can imagine, during the week I tend to go a little stir crazy. :-) I'm not sure when life is going to return to normal but I sure miss it some days.
Hope everyone is doing well and not spending 19 hours a day in their bedroom! (Psssst...its not all bad. Power naps are much easier to take now. :-) Kidding...........or am I?!)

A remarkable site of beauty, La Londe Les Maures has, over the years, preserved its environment. It has thus become a very popular destination for the tourist population. Ideally protected by the Islands of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant, the municipality of La Londe Les Maures has invested in a qualitative approach with its two ports, Miramar and Maravenne, which total approximately 1,200 rings. Si Atlantica pouvait être la photo couverture d’un livre ou l’affiche d’un film….
Alors, je voudrais que ce livre ou ce film, raconte une histoire d’amour…l’histoire d’un poète excentrique qui se serait établi sur une petite île inhabitée où se trouvait un vieux phare désaffecté qu’il rêvait de préserver, comme un témoin précieux de sa propre vie.
Et du sommet de ce phare d’où il pourrait voir et ressentir les humeurs changeantes de la mer, il écrirait les plus beaux et touchants poèmes racontant la vie des gens de mer qui, durant des générations, avaient mis leur confiance dans les avertissements lumineux et sonores des phares.
Puis, lors des jours sans horizon, il immortaliserait en prose ou en vers, ses amours passés, ses amours inachevés, jusqu’à ce qu’une lueur chaude, mais vacillante, perce sur la mer, un horizon naissant.

If Atlantica could be the cover photo for a book or the poster for a movie….
So, I would like this book or this film to tell a love story ... the story of an eccentric poet who settled on a small uninhabited island where there was an old abandoned lighthouse that he dreamed of preserving, like a precious witness to his own life.
And from the top of that lighthouse from where he could see and feel the changing moods of the sea, he would write the most beautiful and touching poems recounting the lives of seafarers who, for generations, had placed their trust in light and sound warnings of lighthouses.
Then, on days without a horizon, he would immortalize in prose or verse, his past loves, his unfinished loves, until a warm flickering glow pierced the sea, a dawning horizon.

Au jourd'hui je vous présente Collobrières : l'Ambassadeur de la chataigne.
De sites mégalithiques majeurs aux châtaigneraies millénaires en passant par un monastère tourjours occupé, le village de Collobrières ne manque pas d'attrait. Blotti dans une courbe du Real Collobrier, le coeur du village a su préserver un patrimoine architectural et son authenticité : Ruelles caladées, édifices religieux, monuments historiques inscrits, nombreuses fontaines et placettes ombragées se laissent découvrir à pied. En octobre le village fête la châtaigne.
La position du village au couer du Massif des Maures est aussi le point de départ de nombreuses randonnées pédestres.

Nestled in a curve of the Real Collobrier, the heart of the village has preserved an architectural heritage and its authenticity: Calmed alleys, religious buildings, listed historic monuments, numerous fountains and shaded squares can be discovered on foot. In October the village celebrates the chestnut.
The position of the village at the heart of the Massif des Maures is also the starting point for many hikes.

Au jourd'hui je vous présente Collobrières : l'Ambassadeur de la chataigne.
De sites mégalithiques majeurs aux châtaigneraies millénaires en passant par un monastère tourjours occupé, le village de Collobrières ne manque pas d'attrait. Blotti dans une courbe du Real Collobrier, le coeur du village a su préserver un patrimoine architectural et son authenticité : Ruelles caladées, édifices religieux, monuments historiques inscrits, nombreuses fontaines et placettes ombragées se laissent découvrir à pied. En octobre le village fête la châtaigne.
La position du village au couer du Massif des Maures est aussi le point de départ de nombreuses randonnées pédestres.

Today I present to you Collobrières: the Ambassador of the chestnut.
From major megalithic sites to thousand-year-old chestnut groves passing by a busy monastery, the village of Collobrières is not without appeal. Nestled in a curve of the Real Collobrier, the heart of the village has preserved an architectural heritage and its authenticity: Calmed alleys, religious buildings, listed historic monuments, numerous fountains and shaded squares can be discovered on foot. In October the village celebrates the chestnut.
The position of the village at the heart of the Massif des Maures is also the starting point for many hikes.
Off the small port of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, I saw the Tatihou island - Manche - Normandy - France - Europe
L’île Tatihou, au large du petit port de Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue et à deux pas de Barfleur, est le domaine privilégié des oiseaux marins, des passionnés d’histoire, de nature et d’environnement.
Vous pourrez y découvrir le musée maritime, les jardins et l’atelier de charpente navale où sont restaurés les bateaux traditionnels. L’île Tatihou doit son nom aux Vikings puisque Tatihou associe un nom noroit (hou : terre entourée d’eau) et un nom propre (Tat).
La traversée entre Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue et l’île Tatihou se fait à marée haute comme à marée basse à bord du bateau amphibie. Cette drôle d’embarcation est capable de rouler sur le fond de la mer !
La tour Vauban et le fort
La construction des fortifications débute en 1689 après la Bataille de la Hougue et l'inspection de Vauban. Construite en 1694, la tour Vauban est depuis 2008 inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, tout comme la tour de la Hougue. Un lazaret, édifié en 1720 dans le but d'éviter la propagation de la peste, complète ce patrimoine maritime. Ces bâtiments sont classés au titre des Monuments Historiques.
Le musée maritime
Ouvert en 1992, il a été créé pour accueillir le mobilier archéologique provenant des épaves de la Hougue (bataille de mai-juin 1692). A ce titre, il est inscrit sur la liste des musées contrôlés par la Direction des Musées de France depuis novembre 1991. Désormais on y aborde également d'autres thèmes : l'histoire de la pêche et de l'ostréiculture, l'histoire naturelle du littoral, l'archéologie terrestre, les beaux-arts et les fonds anciens. Des expositions temporaires sont également proposées par le musée.
Le jardin maritime
Sur près de sept hectares, à l’abri du lazaret, les jardins de Tatihou présentent les plantes du littoral normand mais aussi celles des bords de mer plus lointains... La meilleure période pour les admirer se situe entre le début du mois d’avril et la fin du mois de juin. Toutefois, la diversité et la variété des végétaux en fait un lieu attractif toute l’année.
A découvrir : un jardin d'acclimatation, un jardin botanique et un grand jardin maritime.
La réserve ornithologique
Trois hectares ont été établis en réserve ornithologique en 1990. Au fil de l'année, plus de 150 espèces différentes d'oiseaux nicheurs, migrateurs ou visiteurs occasionnels peuvent être observés sur l'île Tatihou.
A voir aussi : un atelier de charpente, une halle à bateaux, une chapelle, la maison des douaniers...
Un grand projet pour l'île
Lors de votre visite de l’île Tatihou, vous remarquerez que des travaux sont en cours. Quelques explications…
L’île Tatihou recèle un patrimoine naturel et architectural exceptionnel et protégé. Mais il semble insuffisamment valorisé. Le projet, démarré en 2020, a pour objectif de mettre en valeur cette grande richesse patrimoniale mais aussi d’améliorer votre expérience lors de votre visite ou votre séjour sur l’île.
Pour se faire, différentes actions vont voir le jour d’ici à 2022 :
- Les hébergements et lieux de restauration vont être réhabilités et améliorés. L’île Tatihou pourra ainsi accueillir les scolaires dans de meilleures conditions. Les visiteurs pourront séjourner dans des hébergements aux gammes hôtelières variées, allant du village vacances à l'hôtel 4 étoiles, et déguster des produits locaux dans le restaurant de l’île.
- Les contenus du musée maritime vont être revus et le programme des expositions temporaires densifié.
- Les jardins vont connaître un réaménagement avec un nouveau parcours naturel, sensoriel, artistique et ludique.
- Une maison d’accueil va voir le jour pour recevoir, guider et sensibiliser les visiteurs.
- Les cheminements vont être repensés pour préserver le patrimoine naturel.
- Un comptoir touristique et culturel va être créé sur le port de Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. Les visiteurs y trouveront de l’information touristique et achèteront leur billet pour la traversée vers l’île. Entrer dans ce lieu, sera votre première immersion avant la découverte de Tatihou.
Les travaux se termineront au printemps 2022. Leur but ? Que votre visite ou votre séjour soit plus agréable, tout en protégeant le patrimoine naturel et architectural de l’île Tatihou.

Tatihou Island, off the small port of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and a stone's throw from Barfleur, is the privileged domain of seabirds, history, nature and environment enthusiasts.
Here you can discover the maritime museum, the gardens and the naval framework workshop where the traditional boats are restored. Tatihou Island owes its name to the Vikings since Tatihou associates a noroit name (hou: land surrounded by water) and a proper name (Tat).
The crossing between Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and Tatihou Island is done at high tide as at low tide aboard the amphibious boat. This funny boat is capable of rolling on the bottom of the sea!
The Vauban tower and the fort
The construction of the fortifications began in 1689 after the Battle of La Hougue and the inspection of Vauban. Built in 1694, the Vauban tower has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008, as has the Hougue tower. A lazaretto, built in 1720 in order to prevent the spread of the plague, completes this maritime heritage. These buildings are classified as Historical Monuments.
Maritime museum
Opened in 1992, it was created to accommodate archaeological material from the wrecks of La Hougue (battle of May-June 1692). As such, it has been on the list of museums controlled by the Direction des Musées de France since November 1991. From now on, other themes are also addressed: the history of fishing and oyster farming, natural history. of the coast, terrestrial archeology, fine arts and ancient collections. Temporary exhibitions are also offered by the museum.
The maritime garden
On nearly seven hectares, sheltered from the lazaretto, the gardens of Tatihou present the plants of the Norman coast but also those of the more distant seaside ... The best period to admire them is between the beginning of the month of April and the end of June. However, the diversity and variety of plants makes it an attractive place all year round.
To discover: an acclimatization garden, a botanical garden and a large maritime garden.
The ornithological reserve
Three hectares were established as an ornithological reserve in 1990. Over the year, more than 150 different species of nesting, migrating or occasional visitors can be observed on Tatihou Island.
Also worth seeing: a carpentry workshop, a boat hall, a chapel, the customs house ...
A great project for the island
As you visit Tatihou Island, you will notice that construction is underway. Some explanations…
Tatihou Island has an exceptional and protected natural and architectural heritage. But it seems insufficiently valued. The project, started in 2020, aims to showcase this great heritage but also to improve your experience during your visit or stay on the island.
To do so, various actions will be launched by 2022:
- Accommodation and places to eat will be rehabilitated and improved. Tatihou Island will thus be able to accommodate schoolchildren in better conditions. Visitors can stay in accommodation with a variety of hotel ranges, from holiday villages to 4-star hotels, and taste local products in the island restaurant.
- The contents of the maritime museum will be reviewed and the program of temporary exhibitions increased.
- The gardens will undergo a redevelopment with a new natural, sensory, artistic and fun route.
- A reception center will be opened to receive, guide and educate visitors.
- The paths will be redesigned to preserve the natural heritage.
- A tourist and cultural counter will be created in the port of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. Visitors will find tourist information there and buy their ticket for the crossing to the island. Entering this place will be your first immersion before discovering Tatihou.
The work will end in spring 2022. Their goal? May your visit or stay be more enjoyable, while protecting the natural and architectural heritage of Tatihou Island.

Abbaye de Fontenay
Située au nord de la Bourgogne, l’Abbaye de Fontenay a été fondée en 1118 par Saint Bernard de Clairvaux, un des plus grands saints français, et est la plus ancienne abbaye cistercienne conservée au monde.
Classée monument historique français dès 1862, elle a été inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco en 1981. Elle a été l’un des premiers monuments français à figurer sur cette liste, qui a ainsi distingué la valeur exceptionnelle, tant de l’ensemble abbatial de Fontenay que de son environnement naturel. Après la Révolution française qui entraîna le départ des moines, elle a été reprise comme bâtiment industriel, ce qui a permis de préserver l’ensemble des bâtiments de style roman : l’église abbatiale, le dortoir des moines, le cloître, la salle capitulaire, la salle des moines et la forge.
L’Abbaye est agrémentée d’un parc paysager qui a été classé « Jardin Remarquable » en 2004 par le Conseil National des Parcs et Jardins. Elle est nichée au creux d’un vallon entièrement préservé qui s’étend sur plus de 1 200 hectares.
Fontenay Abbey
Located in northern Burgundy, Fontenay Abbey was founded in 1118 by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, one of the greatest French saints, and is the oldest preserved Cistercian abbey in the world.
Classified as a French historic monument in 1862, it was listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1981. It was one of the first French monuments to appear on this list, which thus distinguished the exceptional value of both the whole abbey of Fontenay as well as its natural environment. After the French Revolution which led to the departure of the monks, it was taken over as an industrial building, which made it possible to preserve all the Romanesque style buildings: the abbey church, the monks' dormitory, the cloister, the chapter house. , the monks' hall and the forge.
The Abbey is decorated with a landscaped park which was classified as a “Remarkable Garden” in 2004 by the National Council of Parks and Gardens. It is nestled in the hollow of a completely preserved valley which extends over more than 1,200 hectares.

Our stone house was built from 1777 to 1780 by the Turcotte family. It is located on the Orleans Island, near Quebec City (Canada) and represents the typical house of the vernacular architecture of Nouvelle France. Unlike the first wooden or stone houses, the adaptation to the climate is clearly shown here, with its central chimney, the more obtuse slope of the roof (45 degrees) and the presence of drip holes to keep water and snow away walls to preserve the masonry as well as skylights to illuminate the floor which served as bedrooms instead of attic. The walls are 60 cm thick (2 feet) and its base is 30 x 45 feet (9 x 14 meters).
Notre maison de pierre a été construite de 1777 à 1780 par la famille Turcotte. Elle est située sur l'Île d'Orléans, près de la ville de Québec (Canada) et représente la maison typique de l'architecture vernaculaire de la Nouvelle-France. Contrairement aux premières maisons de bois ou de pierre, l'adaptation au climat est ici bien mis en évidence, avec sa cheminée centrale, la pente plus obtue du toit (45 degrés) et la présence de larmiers pour éloigner l'eau et la neige des murs afin de préserver la maçonnerie ainsi que des lucarnes pour éclairer l'étage qui servait de chambres au lieu de grenier. Fishing boats are secured by ropes, lassoed and knotted tightly to the dock's wooden posts. Colourful air filled bumpers are strategically placed between the hull and the dock, protecting the boats from the constant sway and motion of the Fraser River currents.
Tarps usually indicate fish sales. Earlier in the day you will see tons of people lining up to purchase the fresh, catch of the day. (Seasonal seafood :Prawns, tuna, salmon, halibut, cod etc.)
I love being there......your senses are awakened by wind in your hair, the smell of the river air combined with a hint of fresh fish. The overhead sound of squawking (forever hungry) seagulls, water sloshing up against the piers, the sound of engines humming and rumbling as boats and freighters pass by. The familiar sound of old Cummings type diesel engines knocking and pinging, and the distinctive smell of the diesel fuel as it puffs and billows from the smoke stacks. Another common sound, is that of the constant squeaking from the rubber bumpers as they rub up and down between the boats and the dock.
All the visual sights (including colour and light), nautical sounds, fishing village smells definitely add to the experience of this quaint and enjoyable fishing village.
Definitely one of British Columbia's best kept secrets.

Un métier - Une passion
Depuis des siècles, les paludiers sont les héritiers et les gardiens d'un patrimoine unique. Être paludier, c'est être un peu magicien : de la goutte d'eau en extraire le grain de sel.
Le métier de paludier est l'une des rares professions agricoles qui utilise une technique exempte de mécanisation et d'apport de produits chimiques.
Cette technique de production artisanale permet à la fois de produite un sel de qualité et de préserver un site exceptionnel.
Une passion au fil des saisons
Si le sel se récolte l'été, la récolte se prépare dès l'hiver et le bon fonctionnement d'une saline nécessite un travail tout au long de l'année : seul ou collectivement, le paludier adapte son travail au rythme des saisons.

Pour protéger les salines du gel et des intempéries, le paludier les recouvre d'eau. Cette saison est entièrement consacrée au curage (rayage) des vasières, à l’entretien des talus (renforcement, coupe de la végétation) et au nettoyage des chenaux d’alimentation et d’évacuation ainsi qu’aux réparations éventuelles nécessaires en cas de dégâts survenus lors des tempêtes.
LE PRINTEMPS
Début mars, il faut vider (algir) les salines et les bassins de l'eau de pluie accumulée, puis évacuer la vase et les algues de chaque bassin tout en reconstituant les digues d’argile (ponts) qui constituent le circuit hydraulique de la saline. C’est aussi l’époque des travaux collectifs de réfection complète (chaussage), tous les 25 ans, d'un groupe d'œillets (lotie).
L'ÉTÉ
C’est la récolte de sel. 50 à 60 œillets sont en moyenne exploités par un paludier (ce qui représente une superficie de 3 à 4 ha) et nécessite de longues journées de travail. La production est cependant très variable en fonction de l’ensoleillement, des vents et de la pluviométrie.
L'AUTOMNE
Une fois le sel « roulé », c'est-à-dire mis à l’abri pour l’hiver, le rythme de travail ralentit jusqu’à mi-novembre. Une période de repos qui peut cependant être interrompue en cas de grande marée pour protéger les salines.
À Guérande, un paludier exploitant produit à lui seul, en moyenne, entre 60 et 90 tonnes de gros sel et de 2 à 3 tonnes de fleur de sel par an ! Mais cette récolte varie considérablement en fonction des conditions climatiques (de 0 à 200 tonnes de gros sel) !
Les outils du paludier
Les outils utilisés dans les marais salants ont peu changé au cours des siècles et sont restés, pour la majorité, en bois.
LE LAS
Muni d’un long manche flexible de 5 mètres de long, cet outil est le plus connu. Il sert à la récolte du gros sel.
LA LOUSSE À FLEUR DE SEL
Historiquement en bois, la lousse à fleur de sel sert à cueillir la fleur de sel à la surface des œillets. Il existe désormais des lousses plus élaborées à partir de matériaux modernes plus légers de qualité alimentaire.
LA BROUETTE
Elle est utilisée pour transporter le sel des ladures au trémet. Elle a remplacé au tout début des années 50 la gède, récipient de bois que les femmes portaient en équilibre sur leur tête avec un coussinet de toile enroulée, la torche. Les brouettes peuvent contenir de 120 à 150Kg de sel.
LA LOUSSE À PONTER
La lousse à ponter, en bois, comparable à la lousse à fleur de sel, se différencie par un manche plus court et plus gros. Elle est utilisée pour la réfection annuelle des ponts.
LE RATEAU À LIMU
Il sert à ratisser le limu, une algue qui pousse dans les marais.
LA CESSE (EN BOIS)
La cesse est une grande écope à bras qui sert à vider l’eau ou à jeter la vase.
LA BOYETTE (OU HOULETTE) (EN TÔLE D’ACIER)
C’est la pelle du paludier utilisée pour certains travaux d'entretien des marais salants.
LE BOUTOUÉ (EN BOIS)
De forme similaire à celle du las, il sert pour repousser la vase des fards et dans les œillets avant la récolte, afin d'assurer une grande propreté des fonds.

The trade of salt worker is one of the rare agricultural professions which uses a technique free from mechanization and the addition of chemicals.
This artisanal production technique allows both to produce quality salt and to preserve an exceptional site.
A passion throughout the seasons
If the salt is harvested in summer, the harvest is prepared in winter and the proper functioning of a saltworks requires work throughout the year: alone or collectively, the salt worker adapts his work to the rhythm of the seasons.
WINTER
To protect the saltworks from frost and bad weather, the salt worker covers them with water. This season is entirely devoted to the cleaning (raking) of mudflats, to the maintenance of the embankments (reinforcement, cutting of vegetation) and to the cleaning of the supply and evacuation channels as well as any repairs necessary in the event of damage. that occurred during storms.
SPRING
At the beginning of March, it is necessary to empty (algir) the saltworks and the basins of the accumulated rainwater, then to evacuate the silt and the algae of each basin while reconstituting the clay dikes (bridges) which constitute the hydraulic circuit of the saline. It is used to transport the salt from the ladures to the trémet. At the very beginning of the 1950s, it replaced the gède, a wooden container that women carried balanced on their heads with a cushion of rolled-up canvas, the torch. Wheelbarrows can contain 120 to 150Kg of salt.
THE LOUSSE TO PONTE
The wooden pontoon lousse, comparable to the fleur de sel lousse, is distinguished by a shorter and larger handle. It is used for the annual repair of bridges.
THE RAKE IN LIMU
It is used to rake limu, an algae that grows in swamps.
THE CESSE (WOODEN)
The ceasefire is a large handheld scoop that is used to empty the water or throw in the mud.

En 1878, lors d'une visite, le roi Nikola fut stupéfait par la beauté du Lac de Biograd. Pour le remercier, les paysans du coin lui en firent cadeau. Le roi décida en retour de créer un parc pour le préserver. Proclamé en 1952 parc national, le Parc de Biogradska Gora est l'undes plus petits parcs nationaux du pays avec une superficie de 54km². Situé entre les rivières Tara et Lim, il abrite l'une des dernières forêts primaires d'Europe avec des arbres de plus de 500 ans, des montagnes atteignant les 2000m d'altitude et 6 lacs glaciaires. 26 écosystèmes différents, 220 espèces végétales, 150 espècesd 'oiseux et 10 espèces de mammifères.
Nous avions choisi de visiter le parc en 4/4, en allant d'abord en montagne , pour avoir une bonne visibilité .Maintenant nous allons en faire le tour pédestre évidemment

Wir hatten uns dafür entschieden, den Park mit dem Geländewagen zu besuchen, indem wir zuerst in die Berge fuhren, um eine gute Sicht zu haben, und ihn nun zu Fuß erkunden.

Avevamo scelto di visitare il parco con un veicolo 4WD, salendo prima sulle montagne per avere una buona visuale, e ora ovviamente faremo un tour a piedi.
