The Predator is our run’n’gun stability kit for the Canon C100, C300 and C500*. The fixed LCD screen of the C100 camera particularly lends itself to this compact, simple kit. It is perfect for fast paced shoots and lightweight set ups.
The Predator starts with our Gorilla Baseplate. The rest of the framework attaches via a vertical post that connects to the underside of the plate via a quick-release ratcheting lever. A tripod plate can be installed under the Gorilla Baseplate via standard ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” screw holes. The Gorilla Plate has a 15mm port on the side to attach an accessory arm like the Standard Mount for our EVF. It also has two lightweight threaded rod ports on the front. You can add rods to hold a follow focus or mattebox.
The Predator includes an adjustable gunstock on a ball joint that can settle comfortably into the shooters chest to create a solid brace. The ‘handle’ portion of the Predator is ourC100/300 Grip Relocator. The Canon removable camera grip attaches directly to our Grip Relocator handle and our exclusive cable connects to the port on your camera. Once its plugged in, users have trigger or on/off control, lens aperture control, and a programmable function button that can be set to a number of things including waveform, 1 to 1 zoom, zebras, my menu, and many more. The cable is 24" long.
C100 Users: We recommend the Predator be used with our C100 Z-finder directly on the camera LCD. Our Z-finder will magnify the screen, cut out the light, and has a diopter to adjust for any eyesight issues. It also gives the user one more point of stability. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new product!
*The Predator can be used on the C500 but you must have a C100/C300 grip for this kit to work.

Kaiyodo Sci-Fi Revoltech series no.22 Predator. Amazing likeliness of the monster from the outer space in the 1987 movie “Predator”.
If you know Gorts story, basically this is the helmet the predator from the first film was orginally going to have before they changed there minds and went with what we currently know. After not using the helmet, Gort ended up becoming one of the Lost Clan in Predator 2 at the end on the ship.

Matthieu Joseph Bonaventure Orfila. Leçons faisant partie du cours de médecine légale. Paris: Béchet jeune, 1821.
You had better be happy that I’m under glass, that’s for sure. I’d sting you and not give it a second thought. Just try me. Go ahead, I’m the scorpion. I’d tell you my name, but then I’d have to sting you. This is a book by a French scholar, Mathieu Joseph Bonaventure Orfila (1787-1853), who is known as the father of toxicology – the study of poisons! He also studied lots of seriously gross things, like how dead bodies decompose. This is his book of “forensic medicine,” which shows how people can use a knowledge of chemistry to solve crimes. Believe me, I’d like to sting him, too, just for putting me here.

There was this one exhibit towards the end of the section dealing with humanity's research/inventions that lead to improvements in daily life, and it ended with this one projector that threw out random patterns and colors that faded into a curtain of fog. I think I nailed it.
"Yo, baby, what's up?"
I nod at him, walk on, if I pause he'll paw, I'll be his woman, just because of that moment of eye contact, so I walk walk walk ignoring the ache of his wandering eyes.
"Yo, baby," he says again and I know he's focused on someone else, I'm safe, the predator has found new prey.
Still I walk, no reason to stop, pacing forward with a chess board in my head, pawn d4, and it's just me, believing in free will but moving to my square on demand, still pretending it's where I wanted to go anyway.
"What's up," I hear it again, someone else has walked past,a new victim in his sights. I'm tempted to turn around, look back, but he might see my interest and misinterpret it. Interpret it, even, as interest, which it is but because I want to be him, the one standing there seeing everyone, rather than me, here, with my eyes on the floor. I imagine his dark fingers on my pale skin and a shudder goes through my spine.
"Looking good, babe," he says as I draw near again, I've come a full circle. My eyes flicker towards his then back to the ground. I don't have the guts to ignore him, to turn my back without acknowledgement of him. I can hear shuffling feet behind me, someone else to attract his attention, I walk walk walk to get past and then glance back towards him. The man with the power to force us all to stare at the ground.
"Soon," he says with a wink. I stare down at the floor again but it's too late, I made eye contact, I'm marked.
"Yeah, looking good, be my woman tonight" comes his voice from behind me and I know he's simply waiting for me to make the final circuit around the jail yard. I close my eyes and keep walking, as if I could walk away.
A trophy. A combi-stick. A smart disc. To a Predator, these things are sacred. To everybody else, they are death.

Dropped my ticket to the level below. Paid some guy five bucks to hand it back up to me after the game.

Thank you Dom Bower for the tutorial on how to achieve these results.
After a few comments from friends on facebook they tell me they see the "PREDATOR" from the Arnold Schwarzenegger blockbuster film!
His comic colors work in a variety of locations, not just against the backdrop!

Not raly my thing, but I thought the idea was cool. Far away, you don't notice the Predator's head is made up of all the skulls. Great design work.
