April 1976. Precision National GP10 3445 sits at the East Park engine house at Conway, Pennsylvania. Precision National was another rail equipment leasing company in the 70s and 80s before going bankrupt.

Yesterday Nancy Rose , myself and hubby attended the Air Show in Shearwater NS. The wind was particularly nippy and the sky, as far as photos were concerned was pretty gray. That said the aerial displays by the Snow Birds was impressive as was the aerobatics display that followed them. I am posted a couple from this event today as I shall be non flickring most of the week again I suspect!
Officially known as the Canadian Forces 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, the Snowbirds are Canada's military aerobatics or air show flight demonstration team whose purpose is to "demonstrate the skill, professionalism, and teamwork of Canadian Forces personnel". The squadron is under the jurisdiction of the Canadian Forces Air Command and is based in CFB Moose Jaw, near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Snowbirds are the first Canadian air demonstration team to be designated as a squadron.
I took this shot because I was curious what the squirrel had in its mouth. Turned out to be an old pecan it had dug up. I thought the 2 teeth holding the nut looked very cool so kept the shot.

So here is the deal with miniskirts. Too long and they don't show your legs and stockings well. Too short and they are indecent and may look vulgar. The key to master the miniskirt is to hit that delicate sweet spot right in the middle, where you are both sensual and seductive yet also stylish and ladylike. For me the best indicators are always my stocking tops: if they peek out from under my miniskirt for just a tiny bit then the length of my miniskirt is perfect. That is demonstrated in this picture: my legs and white stockings are nicely visible including that delightful stocking top peek, yet all elegant and graceful as well. It's always a delight to get it just right!
On 27/02/19 I kept an eye on the 0E19 move from Longport EMD to Hull KGV Docks, to convey 66998 back for export. It was always going to be tight as it was booked through Derby at precisely 1700...when I finish uni! Luckily I finished early and as I went through the ticket barriers, Northern Belle 57312 passed by...that was that then!
As the ensemble went away towards a green signal, they ended up stopping short. This was because a party from ROG had met the train, and one member went to change the tail lamp, which appeared to be a bike light strapped to the lamp bracket with cable ties! He added a standard lamp, then thankfully the crew had a brief chat, during which time I'd run up the platform (with bike) and got just one photo. I also got one video on my phone of the lot departing...I can actually be heard panting in the video!

Modern center pivot irrigation systems use low−energy precision applicators (LEPA) rather than impact sprinkler guns. With LEPA, water is applied directly to inter-rows rather than to plant canopy.
My share of Airshow shots. :) Blue Angels performed at California Capital Airshow earlier this month. Due to distance differences, #5 appeared smaller, so I can't line them up perfectly. But hey, at least their tails were pretty much aligned.

I've really wanted to catch one of CP's "heritage" scheme SD70ACUs leading a train ever since they were released. As with prior heritage unit series (UP's, NS's, Amtrak's) it seemed like I was cursed when it came to getting them; with them always seeming to lead on inclement weather days, come through when I was stuck at work, etc.
It looked like this unseasonably pleasant Sunday in February would be no exception; I was gritting my teeth based on reports that 7010 was leading eastbound manifest 288 along the River and Tomah Subdivisions in the morning. Due to being short-staffed at work, my usual 3AM-noon Monday-Friday schedule was switched to Sunday-Thursday; with me working 5AM-2PM on alternate Sundays, including this one.
However, thanks to frequent updates posted to Facebook by railfans located further west, I calculated I would have time to grab my gear and beat the train here after work. It's not the most stellar of shots, but being an eastbound in the late afternoon my options were somewhat limited. In the last three days I've now gotten on the board for military tribute and heritage SD70ACUs, after having been 0-fer on the units until Friday the 21st!
