1964 Fender Precision Bass. Original Sunburst finish. Rosewood fingerboard & C profile neck. Weight: 8.2 lbs. Serial: L33056. All original other than some touched up solder. original case (cosmetically the exterior of the case has seen better days but the latches & handle still work, the interior is still in good condition) This bass plays and sounds awesome. The tone is rich, warm and round which you can only get from these early Fenders. The body shows some wear around the edges & a few nicks and dings but nothing major. The neck is very slim & smooth with some of the finish having worn off. This can all be seen in the pics. The frets have very little play wear. All hardware & electronics work with no issues including the truss rod. The headstock is very clean. Set up nice and low with a great action by my technician. The pots date the 26th week of 64, the neck date is 5th July 64 C.

Part of Union Pacific's new "Precision Railroading" plan apparently includes putting containers heading to Oakland on the rear of a train heading to Milpitas so now that train has to stop and do not one, but two setouts now...autos at Benicia and containers at Oakland. The North Platte, NE to Milpitas, CA autorack train, the ANPMI, passes through Martinez, CA after stopping at Benicia.

The all fuel started on gasoline by hand cranking-spinning the flywheel just in front of the left rear wheel. The little gas tank has the red cap. In the hood is the main tank that held stove oil, or kerosine. After starting on gas, the warm cylinders would keep running on heavy fuel, as long as the engine stayed hot. The grill on the front was adjustable to limit air flow over the radiator, and properly adjusted by the operator using a hand lever by the seat, kept it working on cheap fuel. There was no electrical system, other than a magneto that made spark for the two cylinder-horizontal engine.
Thisi s a quick drawing while I waited to drop off my car for service. The guy in the lower right scared the heck out of me -- creeped up on me when I was drawing -- I always zone out when I'm drawing -- scared me to the point I felt obligated to include him in the moment.
Botanical Name: Nandina domestica
Other Names: Heavenly bamboo, nandina bamboo, timber bamboo
Sources: Highly renewable and sustainable due to its ability to reach harvest within 7 years. Most production occurs in Eastern Asia.
Characteristics: Extremely strong and hard, often used for flooring due to its extreme rugged nature. Has a high dimensional stability, i.e. does not swell or contract as much as standard wood.
Finishing: Takes stains and finishes exceptionally well. We currently offer a clear finish to bring out the natural beauty of the bamboo.
Grain: Very straight grained. Can be produced in thin, vertical grain (shown), or thick, horizontal grain.

Chef Andrew Wilson was the creative force behind the "daily sashimi" plate for this TorontoLife.com feature (yes, this was an arranged session). This series is dedicate to chef's efforts that afternoon.

julienned scallion greens
compressed cucumber
calamansi vinaigrette
Ontario radish rounds

One thing to note is that the plating and ingredients do vary depending on the insipiration (perhaps freshness factor of the fish) of the day. Fish may be replaced with salmon, tuna or snapper however the Asian elements are always laced within the dish.

Of the three 3D printers on display at the Nashville Maker Faire, this was the most sophisticated. The "M" feed is for the 3D printed material, and the "S" feed is for supporting material that dissolves after the printing is finished, allowing for more complex creations. This 3D printer was also the priciest at$10,000.
