I am sorry for this later review. Preorder is already closed for this doll, but I wanted to add her to my preview list, as I think I have all FR offers covered.
So, this is the second Wclub exclusive doll and it is a mini gift set and it's Agnes!!! I preordered right away, but as always, I had some doubts...
First of all, mini gift set??? This doll comes with only one dress and a swimsuit!? Yes, she has two pairs of shoes, but look at East 59th collection we got this year, all dolls have swimsuit, two pairs of shoes and additional outfit at $30 less price. I think it would be better if they left that term out.
Collectors begged for a dark skinned Agnes for a while. Although I do not like Agnes extra pale, I am not sure if I will like this Agnes in hand. I got Seduisante Elyse and although I like her a lot, I just do not think of her as Elyse. IMO, older sculpts that have personalities and background should be offered in skintones similar to original releases. HOWEVER, I really adore FR black skintone, after Tan or Sunkissed it is my favorite skintone! So, I will hold my fingers for this one.
Love her screening, those eyebrows are everything! Is it me or is there a lavander hue on her eyeshadow??? I kind of like that. This Agnes reminds me on Morning Dove Kyori for some reason. I am sure she will look great in white outfits.
Now, I am not sure why Jessy (Ayala - the designer) gave her this orangy dress, I am not sure I like the color. Still, I like the details, like chains. I love lavander sunglasses, but why they used the old sculpt???
The swimsuit is gorgeous! I love everything about it, the Versace print, the color the cut... and those sandals! I guess the jewelry is OK.
Overall, the hairstyle and outfits don't feel like FR to me. I think Nadja would look great here. Agnes is more sophisticated character for this design, IMO.
Her name is perfect though, Ocean Drive, quite summery, too bad we will probably get her close to winter.
Now, I am thinking what is ahead of us. It has been announced that Jessy will design the main FR and NuFace collection, as well as all dolls at the convention except the centerpiece dolls. I am wondering, is this the last time we are seeing Agnes? I am almost sure Jason Wu will choose Agnes and Elyse for centerpiece dolls. Therefore, Jessy will leave those characters out of convention offer. We got this Agnes now, so I guess we will not see her in the mainline?!

My preorder of the ACPlay "The Queen" Leather Suit just arrived (AP-ATX036A, which is the one with the red dress and the black jacket; -B comes with a black dress and red jacket). I popped it on a TBLeague S23B body sporting a Kimi Toys KT010A headsculpt. The short cropped hair seemed fitting for the look.
The dress is pretty nice looking, even if the body sculpt ends up turning her headlights on. I'm a little disappointed by the stockings, though -- they should be higher. The heels are the same set that comes with all ACPlay sets and perfectly good for what they do.
You Guys are the best! You supported me with a good word so many times, you sent me some jaw dropping Futuro Darko fanarts along the way, you kept me going and you waited together with me for this moment for so long. Thank you all! Thank you Nagle Comics for bringing this to life!

So, since I didn't preorder any of NuFace dolls offered, my eyes turned to FR. This time, Jessy took inspiration from Indian traditional outfits. This is the story: "In this truly exceptional collection, Bollywood actress Isha returns to her roots on the silver screen after a long absence and her long time friends from the FR world are all present to celebrate her return at the Parisian premiere of her new hit movie, Sacred Lotus!" Therefore, I thought Isha will be a lottery or an event doll, but she isn't. Let's start:
Goddess Tatyana Alexandrova - was the first doll to be revealed. I was a bit surprised to see her in this collection inspired by Indian fashion. She is a Russian after all and we haven't seen Korinne in ages. Tanned Korinne would look great here. Anyway, although I like her overall appearance, I am not sold on her face. There is something that bothers me. Maybe yellow eyeshadow, or the position of the eyes, not sure. I like her hairstyle and haircolor, though. The dress should be a two-piece, if I understood Jessy correctly. I like the color, but not the design. It looks a bit bulky on the waist, the material should have been cut and sewn on. The jewelry is beautiful, actually the jewelry is beautiful on all dolls! As I have convention Tatyana on preorder, decided to pass.
Karma Kyori Sato - I am ready for new sculpt for Kyori. Really, designers try so hard to make a good Kyori 2.0, but that is hard. IMO Dangerous to know was her best incarnation and we can just move on. The outfit? Long boots? Again? She is somehow out of place in this collection. Easy pass for me.
Resurgence Natalia Fatalé - now, this one got me interested. I was very excited to see how Jessy will handle Natalia. I think he did a great job on Vero and Dasha in Boudoir. He said Miranda from The Devil wears Prada was an inspiration. She is not my cup of tea. I do not want sweet Natalia, she should be a major b.... in these series, not a sweetheart. She has so small eyes and her forehead looks too big. The outfit on the other hand is my favorite. It looks more Thai, IMO, than Indian and I love it. The pants are everything. The earrings? Perfection! Lovely shoes too! Too bad he didnt use Purple Pose Isha screening as an inspiration, instead of Dark Swan Elyse. After long consideration, decided to pass.
Divinity Isha Kalpana Narayanan - you probably know Isha is one of my most favorite sculpts. I adore Purple Pose, Shimmering Cooper, Just a Tease and Scene Stealer. This one has a modified Scene Stealer screening. Upper eyelashes are left out, everything else seems the same to me. Of-course, there is no white under the eyes, and I think that is a great thing Jessy did. Still, she reminds me on Jet Set Isha and that kills the buzz for me. Also, she has a nose earring and that one is NOT removable, we got a warning that you will ruin the doll if you remove it. Since I do not like piercings on my dolls, that was a major turndown for me. The outfit looks nice, but I wonder how will it look in person. The shoes are interesting, one of the older Isha's had similar. I have decided to get Purple Pose and pass this one.
Serenity Vanessa Perrin - this one was so below my radar that I almost forgot to include her here. She comes in the outfit shown, plus gold/yellow dress. I like the pants and shoes, the color palette reminds me on one of the older giftsets featuring Veronique. The shirt looks very interesting, too. The coat is OK, I guess. I might search for this outfit. Vanessa herself looks nice, I like blue eyes and gold eyeshadow. Still, I am quite over these ITBE/skintone switch looks.
Finally, Devotion Agnes von Weiss - I literally fainted! OMG! Hands down! I think this one will be one of my most favorite dolls (unless they screw something up). Look at her! The only thing I would change is her... name: Kali (goddess of destruction). She features High Gloss screening and she looks flawless. Those piercing blue eyes are amazing! Long auburn hair and those lips, gorgeous! Unfortunatelly, I will have to wait until December to get my paws on her :)
Only one doll from this collection for me. Still, I think Agnes is enough for me. I had a feeling Jessy designed her first and than worked on other dolls based on her. All dolls are priced at $155 (except Vanessa - $175), which is an increased price compared to the last year. I wish all of them were giftsets and priced as Vanessa, at least we would get another outfit.

As I said not long ago we're back with another preorder! This time with a head for 1/4 scale bodies.
She's Lys, an improved version of Annabelle, a doll I started quite some time ago... So I'm really glad that she's finally going to be casted ^^ I think she has very versatile features and that she could fit as a boy or a girl.
Measurements: -Head circumference:16cm (6-7 inch)
- Neck circumference: 7cm
- Eyes: 12mm
It will be casted for Haru Casting, and the resin skintone will be Volks pureskin normal.
Waiting time for the heads to be casted and send from Haru will be around 2-3 months, if there's any delay you'll be notified beforehand.
Price would be 90€, +20€ if you want a custom face up.
Payments would be done through bank transfer (BBVA) or via paypal (nimphaerytales@hotmail.com). Layaway is possible up to 2 months maximun.
This preorder will be opened till all the units are sold. Once the prototype is sent to Haru I'll be uploading the state of the preorder through my Facebook page.
