I was smitten by this Petworks girl at first look. But somehow passed on the ordering. But could not ignore when they did a second session of preorders because of continuing requests from fans.
The weird thing is - she wont be home until Dec-Jan. That will be a long wait time :))

Myaree is a Leafy Sea Dragon BJD. She stands on her big front leaves and on the tip of her tail, and is 11cm tall; her length from head to tail is 13cm. Sea dragons move with fins on the back of their neck and at the base of their tail - most of their appendages are just for camouflage, and can’t more - Myarees ‘leaves’ are all glued in, except the bigger lower ones. He head, neck, front leaves and tail piece are moveable.
♦Comes with: box, CoA, 2 pairs of eyes in the same color as her body. She will come blank.*

So like everyone else, I was hopping to get my hands on Nadja, really the one we've all waited and cried for her return on the w club forums, but unfortunately she sold out before I had the chance to preorder her. Luckily my favorite NuFace Girl appeared to have been made in a larger edition size so I got Giselle. My dealer is so cool, she's hooked me up with Erin's and Nadja's outfits, yes even the coats which I am so happy for because Giselle may be hot, but that outfit needs some help. Fortunately for all of us, the whole line really appears to work together allowing room to mix and match different pieces together. What I am most excited about is the shoes, obviously. The gold heels ad that extra special touch of lux to their looks.
I really like Erin's look, but I thought it was too similar to that of my rerooted Lady in Red. Not that I think she was based on her, but she's too close to keep her around.

I passed the preorder on this girl. And then I ran to find her again. Thanks to a wonderful collector friend, I got her quickly and without having to pay a price for my initial hesitation.
Her accessories alone are worth it. And she's so spectacularly different from all other Giselles in my collection.
This is my current preorder situation. I have about 10 figures from other customizers waiting, but these big 3 make the bulk of all my preorders of 23 minifigures alone..
Had I known it would take that long for all these minifigures to arrive, I would probably not have preordered that much. For a few of them I don't even have the space anymore, because other customs were finished quicker.
That's why I will cut down on preordering for now.
Still, I hope to see some of them arriving soon which would get me back in the preorder game. ;)

This is what I've been working on: three new head sculpts for Inamorata dolls. A reboot of Asian Miao and African Nnaji sculpts, but also a completely original new Caucasian sculpt to join in with a more Latina vibe Charo. I've been working on this head for a long time, but it's seldom I have time to sculpt. I am really happy with the final outcome, especially her nose, although the lips will still need a bit texturing.
