LUCIANO ALLA RICERCA DELL'ORCHIDEA PERDUTA.
Capita spesso di condividere le escursioni fotografiche con mio cognato Luciano e le rispettive consorti,a volte in città d'arte ed a volte immersi nella natura incontaminata.
In questa occasione ci trovavamo a Monteaperta,una località delle prealpi friulane circondata da boschi e pascoli e ricca di flora spontanea come orchidee e lilium.

Il Cansiglio, altopiano delle Prealpi Carniche posto a cavallo delle provincie di Belluno, Treviso e Pordenone, sovrasta con le pendici esterne a sud e a est la pianura veneto-friulana, mentre a nord è delimitato dalla regione dell’Alpago e a nord est dal gruppo montuoso del Cavallo; infine, ad ovest, la Val Lapisina lo separa dal Col Visentin.
Il paesaggio è proprio da fiaba: è il bosco di Biancaneve e i sette nani, di Hansel e Gretel, di Alice nel paese delle meraviglie. L’atmosfera è magica: non conosco aggettivi che possano descrivere la bellezza di questi luoghi, non conosco parole che trasmettano le emozioni provate.
L’ambiente è suggestivo: si ha realmente la convinzione che sia
abitato da folletti e streghe.

Dans les reliefs karstiques, l’eau, plutôt que de couler en surface comme dans d’autres régions, s’infiltre dans le sous-sol. Ce relief (on utilise souvent en France le mot "causse" pour le désigner) se rencontrera le plus souvent dans le cas où le sous-sol est constituée de roches calcaires : calcaires et dolomies surtout, mais aussi craie, marbre, et travertin. Mais l'action de l'eau peut créer des karsts dans le gypse, l'anhydrite et le sel-gemme (halite), mais aussi dans des grès ou des quartzites.
Les paysages karstiques sont caractérisés par des formes de corrosion de surface mais aussi par des formations souterraines étonnantes. Un certain nombre de mots de vocabulaire géologique sont à rapporter à ce type de relief et nous les expliquerons ici : doline, stalagmite, stalactite, résurgence, lapiaz, aven, paysage ruiniforme…..

La vista che ci si offre oggi davanti agli occhi dai Monti di Nava è quasi speculare rispetto a quella di solo sette giorni fa dal Grignone.

Il Lago di Como in questo tratto ricorda molto i fiordi norvegesi, sia per la ripidita dei versanti sia per il numero limitato di insediamenti umani.
La fleur "Aconite Napel" est hautement toxique. Elle est fréquente dans la réserve Pro Natura du Vanil Noir.

Lake Maggiore (in Italian: Lago Maggiore or Verbano, the Roman Lacus Verbanus) is the most westerly of the three large prealpine lakes of Italy and the second largest after Lake Garda. It lies approximately at [show location on an interactive map] 45°57′N 8°38′E / 45.95, 8.633.

It has a surface area of about 213 km², a maximum length of 54 km and, at its widest, is 12 km. The lake basin has tectonic-glacial origins and its volume is 37 km³.
Its main tributaries are the Ticino, the Maggia, the Toce (by which it receives the outflow of Lake Orta) and the Tresa (which is the sole emissary of Lake Lugano). The rivers Verzasca, Giona, and Cannobino also flow into the lake. Its outlet is the Ticino which, in turn, joins the river Po just south-east of Pavia.
The lake’s jagged banks are surrounded by the Prealps of Piedmont and Lombardy. The western bank is in Piedmont (provinces of Novara and Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola) and the eastern in Lombardy (province of Varese), whereas the most northerly section extends thirteen kilometres into Switzerland, where it constitutes the lowest point above sea-level in that entire country.
The climate is mild in both summer and winter, producing Mediterranean vegetation, with beautiful gardens growing rare and exotic plants. Well-known gardens include those of the Isola Madre, Isola Bella and the Isole di Brissago, that of the Villa Taranto in Verbania, and the Alpinia botanical garden above Stresa.
