Climbing in jeans!

I was going to pass on the op to shoot a practice session, but I'm kinda glad that I did.

These are common in tessellated masks but not so common anywhere else.

Being perfect isn't the most important. Practice makes better.

Sketch didn't turn out well....I need to practice more watercolour!

Tai-Chi practice. A night fooling around the "cité des sciences et de l'industrie", we heard some music near la Géode. The guy was there, under the bridge, practicing Tai-Chi and not caring about the people around him, pretty much like he was in his own sphere.

Guitar practice on Gerrard St E in Toronto Ontario.

Chopsticks aren’t hard to use once you get the hang of it. As with most things in life, practice makes perfect.

Asha Alvira and Cherry Beach Sunset are wearing the two dresses I finished this week using some new fabrics that were an impulse buy.

A brief snatch of organ music from St Michael & All Angels Church, Ledbury. Hope you like it, Jane Statham!

Taken with Samsung NX300 provided by Samsung Electronics.

I've been using Samsung camera for around three years and I bought four Samsung cameras. Now Samsung provided me with a new Compact System Camera NX300 so I went out to test it last week.

Sketched quickly from the imagination (really just plop down the washes and let it go where it may). I'm using these to practice technique without getting "attached" to the work. I think I'll be doing quite a few of these for a while.

Daniel Smith and Winsor & Newton watercolor in a 9x12" ProArt watercolor sketchbook. Just Ultramarine, and Raw and Burnt Sienna.

My assistant has an amazing house, so we did a training session the other day.

It was the first time I forgot extra batteries while I was out shooting!

If anyone knows of any good resources for shooting interiors, please send me links!

Ham and cheese rocket sandwich, blueberries, carrot stars and a black cherry tomato cheese ring planet.

What I learned: It takes a LOT of blueberries to fill a 650ml box. I switched to a smaller one and left out the other planets and moon I had planned, so we're a little veggie light.

A storm was approaching and the chicks were taking turns on the rock flapping their wings in the wind.

Taken during early batting practice before the Chicago White Sox faced the Kansas City Royals @ Kauffman Stadium on June 28, 1988. I was sitting in the last seat front row of the upper deck along the left field side.

Ann Arbor Dance Classics 2014 Recital on Sunday June 15, 2014. The recitals will be held on Saturday June 14, 2014 and Sunday June 15, 2014 at Saline High School (Saline, Michigan). This also featured the Solo Showcase before the Sunday recital. These are photos from my perch on Stage Right - stage managing again!

These are practice pieces for a project I'm planning. Each folded from a rectangle of tracing paper. The square box is actually folded from a slightly longer rectangle than the triangular one, but it requires a lot more extra paper to get the 90 degree turn for the spout on top.
