'Practical Photography' is still going although I suspect they probably concentrate more on the digital medium now.
Several years ago I rescued a commercially bound year's worth of 'World Sports' for 1966 from a dustbin. Despite billing itself as "The Official Magazine of the British Olympic Association", it covered a wide spectrum of sport, including the World Cup. Someone told me Chamberlin was built during a time of cost-controls and the resulting building represented a lot of compromises and concessions. Here we have turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pierogis and some sort of "chicken cacciatore", though I've never seen it look like that.
There was some topping offered up next to the turkey, so I took some - I guess I thought it was a sort of seized-up gravy. Nope, that was horseradish - what a rookie mistake! Well, that ruined my turkey.
