Walking along the canal north of Bratch Locks, power lines from every direction converge on a primary station. I liked the criss cross these made against the sky.

谷戸を利用したと思しき公園を、送電線が貫いています。
邪魔といえば邪魔ですが、送電線があることによって、公園が再開発されることもなく、当分の間は安泰なのかも知れません。
I wonder if Entergy built this grid for this neighborhood out of what they had left over in the warehouse. Hardly any of the poles match each other.
Looks like they changed crossarms and finally fixed the lean on these poles, although there are no brace poles or new guy wires. Many of the old insulators were reused on the new arms
The lines used to turn right here and go through the field. They were severely leaning and must have just recently finally been torn down.

Tonight just before dark, my wife and I experienced a beautiful sky after a rain shower. We even had a rainbow visible from our carport.
Seems strange that they would use a steel pole for a short 12kv pole replacement. They usually save the steel poles for tall poles or H-Frame replacements
