So you have to keep a close watch on it.
The X ray system I'm restoring/building is entirely software controlled. *MY* software. Which means it can't be trusted. These meters and status lamps display the real-time status of the system by old-skool analog monitoring. The LCD at bottom left is connected to the (independent) watchdog CPU to keep track of other watchables like tube temperature and total heat load in the anode.
The drive circuits have deliberately-conservative hardware limits, there's overtemperature cutouts, and the watchdog CPU will pull the plug if things look like they are going off the rails.
Plus there's a big emergency-stop button I can hammer any time.

I want to sleep rigth now but I'm so full of energy. I had fellowship with my church members last nigth and it was awesome. I went home around 2ish in the morning covered with make up because we played a game but I lost and my puhnisment was that I have to be mark with make up all over my face... =)..I'll post it soon somehow..
This picture explains how I feel rigth now. I feel like my source of power comes from the power plant. There's something about power plant I'm really attractive about. I think it's because of the voltage and weird stuff that's on them. Anyways, on the right side, I took that picture when I was driving so please DON'T DRIVE AND TAKE PICTURE AT THE SAME TIME.
I have a question for those who are reading this. I'm trying to get a new laptop and the Apply (Mac laptop) seems to be in my constant mind. I'm not much a computer person really. I want something that's really handy to use for school and traveling purposes. Mac seems to be a good brand but it's a little bit expensive for me. I wish a have a job to buy....any comment or opinion? Do you prefer Mac or PC? decision, decision...
