Church planter Wole Ajala has developed a new ministry he calls Beautiful Gate Church on Wheels. He has custom equipped a brightly decorated trailer with chairs and other equipment, plus a power generator he keeps in the back of his pickup. He can pull the trailer to a location and set up an instant church. This day, Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, he held a service in downtown Greensboro.

Visitors to the Goodman South Madison Library on April 5, 2014, were able to spend their mornings having fun exercising their minds at the Navigant STEM Fair. Kids and their families had the opportunity to investigate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, thanks to volunteers from Navigant, who organized and ran the fair in partnership with the library. Activities included exploring MG&E’s Pedal Power Generator, a Lego Robotics demonstration, the “Science of Goo”, dissecting an owl pellet, creating a battery using food, an an electricity demonstration. This is a re-edit of an earlier photo in my photostream. I managed to painstakingly increase the shade of the windmill to give it bit more contrast with the black sky at the top. The light was increased slightly to make the lanscape pop out a bit more, and I've added a black border to make the image stand out a bit more.
I'm really happy with the result - What do you think?

Moving house can be a stressful affair - but amazingly the parent Great Tits stood by their chicks after the relocation of their nest from a power generator flue at Pennaf Housing in St Asaph North Wales.(With full RSPB and DEFRA permission) The parents continued to feed them for a further week before the chicks fledged - great result! WO2 Stephen Methan works at his station in the Enabling Command headquarters during Ex ARRCADE RETURNER 2 at Beacon Barracks in Stafford. This particular exercise was the walk phase of the "crawl, walk and run" training scheme. The ARRC staff is using this training to prepare for their upcoming NATO Response Force mission, which could see them rapidly deployed anywhere in the world for a variety of operations.
