We were amazed by the utter beauty of Prague. We arrived late on a Friday with no hotel reservations. The first 3 hotels were full (we almost paniced). We got the last 2 rooms at Hotel Paris. www.hotel-pariz.cz/ It's a lovely hotel and is only steps away from the Powder Tower (shown in picture above). Hotel Paris is a fine example of art nouveau architecture. I highly recommend the hotel if you find yourself in Prague and need a nice place to stay.

The gothic Powder Tower was built in 1475 during the reign of King Vladislav II at the site of an 11th century gate, one of Prague's 13 original city gates. The master builder Matous Rejsek constructed an ornate tower based on the 14th century Old Town Bridge Tower.
I'm number 49. Our class (the juniors) kicked some serious tail that Homecoming -- we won all the competitions and both powder puff games (jr vs sr & jr vs (winner of the fresh - soph game)).
