I planted pansies and osteospermum (which has a more charming common name, but I can't remember it) about a week ago in the urn on my front step. I knew that pansies thrived in cool temperatures, but since Bachman's had the osteospermum outside next to the pansies, I assumed they must also. So far so good.
This wasn't what the new laws this year were all about, right? That was something else? 'Cause there's sure a lot of THIS kind around downtown these days! (Somebody musta held a fundraiser to pay for lal these new flower pots...)
Ok, so this is the first Dahlia I've dug up this year. Its a Sandia Joy that I plan on trying to keep growing indoors.
The 4" plastic pot was not damaged at all by the tuber clump, but I removed it so we could see what the pot tuber clump looked like.
