Umbekannte steckten am frühen Donnerstagmorgen Kleinlastwagen der Deutschen Post in Brand. 7 Wagen brannten völlig aus. Das anliegende Gebäude, welches Denkmalgeschützt ist, erlitt ebenfalls einen erheblichen Schaden. .

The VR inscription on this post box denotes that it was manufactured during the reign of Queen Victoria (1837 - 1901).
There is a small metal plaque at the top stating that it was installed at nearby Sarratt Vale in 1907 before being relocated here.
So it may have been somewhere else first, but quite likely that it was held by the GPO for a few years before being installed.

An old stone gate post, which judging by the different boundary lines around it has seen an awful lot of traffic in it's lifetime.
Construction of the new Lake Street Post Office in Minneapolis. This is the rebuilding of the former post office that was burned down on May 29th, 2020 during civil unrest over the murder of George Floyd.
