OK I realise you may not see the post top. If you like, try stepping back from the screen and shutting one eye (but make sure the neighbours can’t see you :) ). Our brains are very good at constructing something out of nothing!

This is a precursor image to several others that I started working on at the weekend for Sliders Sunday. I ran out of time. Normally I wouldn’t post an interim image like this but I quite liked it at this stage with the subdued colour - almost a monochrome effect. The next step is more colourful :)
It’s an old picture of a weathered fence post in late afternoon light, processed with Topaz Studio and the Glow module in particular. I am really quite intrigued by the effects you can get with this filter, especially when there are strong lines and contours in the starting image.

Camber Sands is a beach at the village of Camber (near Rye), East Sussex, England. It is the only sand dune system in East Sussex and is located east of the estuary of the River Rother at Rye Bay all the way to the East Sussex/Kent border.

Found this along the Clinch River Highway over near Fort Blackmore, Virginia a few months ago. Looks like its days are numbered.
In roof construction, a king post uses one central supporting post, whereas the queen post truss uses two, so the queen can span wider openings
Found on a morning stroll along the harbor in Sitia, Crete, Greece. Sitia is found on the northeastern end of the island of Crete.
Post sunset Nandadevi is a study in frost, tinged ever so mildly with the colours of sunset. Fickle light, handheld.
