I'm about three weeks behind on this project. Life -- school particularly -- has gotten in the way of photography lately. It's a bummer in some ways, but I was invited to join an academic honor society, and I received a scholarship from it. I struggle with perfection sometimes, so Phi Theta Kappa is validating my near-obsessive behavior. Har.
I'd been training for a 10K to run last month, but the race was cancelled at the last minute. I also injured my knee, so doing another race between then and now was out of the question.
Saturday was a huge personal accomplishment for me: Not only did I run this race, but I came in second in my age division. And I received my first trophy ever.
Yeah, I'm bragging a little, but I'm actually proud of myself for once.
