My best run ever! 10 miles in an hour and a half!

This picture was taken after the Tower of Terror 10 Mile Race that finished in Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you ever feel crazy enough to run 10 miles at night, you GOTTA try running this race.

Superprestige Hamme-Zogge 2011

I ran the Sedona Marathon 10K race this morning. Unofficial time was 1:14,

7 minutes faster than my last 10K finish. Update: Official results are in and my time was actually 1:12:12. Yippie! (Those 12s are superstitious/auspicious for 2012! Also, I could say I ran it in 72 minutes, which is also auspicious, as it's the year I was born.) I was 17th out of 32 in my age category and 219th out of 402 overall running the 10K. I am happy with these results because it was just 4 years ago, in my first 10K race, that I came in dead last behind a couple of 80 year olds, finishing at 1:38. The Sedona course was hard, down into Dry Creek and back out. Lots of hills. But fun. (I am glad it's over!)

PS- every runner got a medal.
