I've always loved vintage cycling posters, and seeing as bike season is in full swing, I took a shot at creating my own. I've been in the market for a used Bianchi cyclocross bike, so that's where the Italian theme and the color palette came from. I'll be printing up a few for friends and family, and may be selling a limited amount as well.

The Greengrocer's Apostrophe: The posters feature a grid of the objects labeld to mark possession, alongside a list of all the things belonging to the fruit. It's quite ridiculous when you read it. What would the orange want with a teapot or a pair of scissors, you wonder...

Esteemed author and visual artist Douglas Coupland hosted an interactive presentation on Marshall McLuhan and YouTube at The Waldorf Hotel.
Along with others I gave all the photographs and video I took during the first few weeks of the December 2008 uprising in Greece to friends who were in the process of making a documentary about the events. Their aim was to give a different perspective on the nationwide riots and protests that followed the death of 15 year old Alexis Grigoropoulos at the hands of a Greek police officer in the Exarchia district of central Athens.
That video has now been finished and is being shown around the country.
As part of my on going support for the project I designed this poster and I'm in the process of translating the documentary into English.

This poster design was our submission for the 2010 Tacoma Film Festival. The core of the poster design was handmade with felt, vintage fabric, glue and sewing machine. The piece was then brought into Photoshop and digitally edited to finish the layout.

Poster design for San Diego Junior Theatre's production of "Madeline's Christmas," Polasky Children's Center version, Theatre On Third, Chula Vista, California, 2006.
Orchesis Dance Company's spring production, "heads will roll" poster design.
The theme is based on the song "heads will roll" by the yeah yeah yeahs and the song is a story about the battle between the queen of hearts and queen of spades (hence the crown, and heart & spade shapes).
The whole design is designed to look like the back of a playing card.

Really proud and honoured to work with Sid Lee for Sport Chek's latest campaign for the Toronto Raptors called #MyNorth. This project meant a lot to me as it's for my hometown Tdot and I get to hand draw all 9 neighbourhoods that make up the GTA.
This was definitely one of the most ambitious illustration projects I have taken on to date. The illustration took over 160 hours to finish which included countless all nighters and weekends. Special thanks to the talented Joanna Ambrosio for assisting me with this project. We've been enjoying all the photos of the actual posters, billboards and paste ups we've been seeing through other people's Instagram posts from Toronto.

This one is for the 2nd annual Vancouver Island Short Film Festival gala event. Now that I think about it, I wish I'd made the magenta bits red. Aslo, when word came down I had to make "The Nanaimo Arts Council presents" larger than had been in previous posters, I went a little crazy. Oh well... Adobe Illustrator, 2006.

There were several projects that I got to oversee, design, and guide the overall art direction to Hasana's marketing materials — a 16-page LookBook highlighting nine different collections of jewelry, the website is in development, but pages are still in development, Event Posters for the launch party, and 9 different informational cards defining the inspiration and designer for each collection of Hasana. I wish I could take credit for the photography, too, but these stunning images were taken by Amaris Granado (amarisgranado.com).
