Aston University held its graduation ceremonies in the magnificent surrounds of Birmingham Town Hall on Tuesday, April 15 2014.
There were three postgraduate and foundation degree ceremonies in total at the grade-1 listed landmark, which first opened as a music hall in 1834. Throughout the day, more than 520 postgraduate and foundation students from across Aston’s four Schools received their degrees and were commended for their hard work.
The 2nd floor Lounge opened in May 2014 for the benefit of postgraduate research students at the University.

The Navy's Center for Information Dominance Detachment (CIDD) hosted this year's Monterey Peninsula Navy Birthday Ball at the Hyatt Hotel in Monterey, CA on Oct. 17.
More than 600 Presidio of Monterey and Naval Postgraduate School Sailors and guests along with DLIFLC personnel attended the event. Special visitor RADM Edward Masso, USN Ret. (recent Commander, Navy Personnel Command and Deputy Chief of Naval Personnel) was the featured guest speaker.
An outstanding time was had by all.

We welcomed our new postgraduate scholars to the University of Essex with a special reception at Wivenhoe House hotel
Postgraduate & Professional Development Centre, Harper Adams University.
Today the Hereios of the We're Here! group are enjoying contemporary architecture. Within four miles of home the choice is between new suburban housing (hopelessly unadventurous and dull), supermarkets (duller), and new university buildings. No contest.
It goes without saying that the building has the form of a Dutch barn. I can't say for sure, though I think it was designed and built to resemble one rather than being a conversion.
