From 12.30pm on February 1st, 2010, students at the University of Glasgow have occupied and reclaimed the Hetherington Research Club on University Gardens. The Hetherington Research Club was forced to close last year due to finance problems.

From the flyer: "We want the building to be a space for people across the city to utilise in the struggle against cuts and austerity. And we want it to be a safe, non-commercial space for students of Glasgow Uni - for socialising, for education and for engaging with the movement against cuts and fees, both on our campus and across the city."
