The 332km post on the Bombala Branch is located at the log loading point, outside Hume. While the railway line remains on NSW land (and thus, so does this km post), the actual loading point is in the ACT, as the line skirts the border.

Stuffed toys being so much more patient than live animals, my daughter's well-worn favorite, Bowa, agreed to a photo shoot on a black sheet of construction paper. In this sequence I'm playing with diffusing or bouncing the flash of my Sony P100.

Mail carriers, 1905 by City of Round Rock

At this time the post office was housed in the Masonic Building at 107 S. Mays Street, and carriers delivered rural routes in two-wheeled "hacks." The carrier on the left is Bob Carlson, the other is unidentified.

We had a nice bit of snow here in England and i missed loads of time off school which is always good, i took this at about 9:00 am with my E series 50mm Prime lens (which is AMAZING, really cheap, £40-£50, really sharp, just incredible)

I was really lucky that there was blue sky out, normally whens there's snow there's boring, overcast skies. :D
