Repair work continuing with stone filled gabions on the beach in the foreground after the winter storms,
people have been so generous, it's amazing.

Parks are the main landscape for families and friends to interact: read a book, do a project, mingle and be seen. Portland has quiet a choice of discerning parks. One that is viewed here is Jamison Square. Jamison Square is surrounded by tastefully designed apartments- mod and minimalist, the type that you would see come out of Dwell, ‘fresh and intelligent’ in a glimpse.
Precisely these four words could be given to sum up Portland: mod, minimalist, fresh and intelligent. As well as that, the city has a 90s tone to it- as if The Cure’s song could blair up anytime from one of the buildings. Home to many great singer and songwriters such as The Shins and Pink Martini, the European musky tone of the buildings surrounding the area greatly dissipates the harmonic tones of these people. Definitely a city to visit especially if you are into culture, design, art and cityscapes!
