A two image panorama, merged in Lightroom, of the Back Basin section of Portland, Maine. It was taken from an open garden space along North Street. In the sky is a short trail of a jet that had just taken off from the Portland Jet Port.

The Back Basin is very shallow and much of the bottom is exposed at low tide. The main roadway is I-295. There is a nice road around the basin and a very well used biking/hiking trail.
