Prototype detachable fender that doubles as a rear carrier. I made this so the bicycle can travel on the high speed French TGV trains. These require a bike to be partially disassembled to a package of 120 x 90 cm max. Wheels strapped to the frame, bars flipped, pedals off. In the bagage compartments, the whole package lays on its side.
On the train stations I was too busy packing the contraption in the tarp of my tent to take any photos, but it worked well enough. Assembled, the rear carrier can take some small panniers with a light load.
Once Mr Henderson completed his barn find project, he liked nothing more than performing his duties around the lunar base in his new ride. Here he places and programs some portable radar arrays, prior to delivering large cylinders of single malt whisky.
The super energy efficient Biotron power-plant has been disguised as an internal combustion engine. What looks like an air filter is a hot plate for cooking pancakes and bacon and the exhausts are frothy coffee dispensers (Decaff on the left, Caffeinated on the right).
Everyone liked partnering Mr H in his new rover.
The "Pow Wow" is one of Quartzsite's biggest Art and Craft shows every year in January. This year FastNetUSA.com is providing WiFi for the 350 vendors that will be selling at the show. With help from others, I set this rig up yesterday.
I uploaded these photos of my Portable Life museum to show it to a Flickr friend. The purpose of this ”journal” is to collect memorabilia from everyday life or travels and little adventures, anything really that can fit in a book. I made the cover with thick paper covered with the green fabric. The text on the front cover is acrylic paint. Since I’m a paper hoarder, I had lots to pick from; so I collected a handfull of papers and envelopes and glued them into the journal. This made the base, to which I can attach the memorabilia - with glue, scotch tape, paper clips, or with a stapler. On one of the pages you can see some of the things from my latest batch of street combing finds. I’d say this journal is half full at the moment, and to be honest - I have no idea what to do with it once it’s full hahaa

133/365: This little cockatiel toy is attached to my USB, it looks just like my cockatiel Noddy. It even squeaks just like him too haha. One last exam to go tomorrow.
Saw these when we stopped at the gas station yesterday. I was debating on using it for my 366 yesterday. I hope you know that I appreciate your comments and visits. I may not get back to you quickly but I will try my best.
I was in a Disney mood today as I am trying to warm myself with warm thoughts on this COLD April day. Actually I had a chance to take an extended lunch so I was on my iPad making some plans for my summer vacation to Disneyland, as well as trying to pick which lenses to pack. ;-)~
I am not sure if I have ever posted this particular scene from "Spaceship Earth". This scene depicts early Egyptians who were the first at creating portable communication with hieroglyphs on papyrus.
Thanks for looking!! I will catch up as time allows. :-)
