A third example of the Loyal Bright Porsche Cayenne picked up from a wonderful toy shop in Spain recently because they were cheap, they were unused despite clearly being old stock and a rare opportunity in finding a casting from a toy manufacturer which no longer exists.
Always budget aimed yet possessing attention to detailing often found absent within the same price point it is a fully licensed casting despite lacking any information on the baseplate.

This is the sight that greeted me a week ago after I had returned from vacation. It was straight into 5th gear and we haven't slowed down since *hahahahaha* That's the quickest I've recovered from a vacation ever!

Does anyone notice that the key fobs are designed after the shape of the Porsche Cayenne?(including the 2 front headlamps) ;-)

As the photographer in the family, I have been given the job of photographing items to be sold on the family business website www.thegeniescave.co.uk or on eBay under the name of the_genies_cave. There is quite a bit of variety (if you think about what might be found in a cave belonging to a genie!) and I quite enjoy doing it. This image was taken using a small light tent illuminated by a pair of halogen lamps of the type commonly found in bathroom or kitchen ceilings.

Good to see Welly being one of the first toy makers to bring out a 1/64 scale version of the new generation Porsche Cayenne Turbo closely followed by Matchbox. Being a Welly it obviously doesn't look quite as cost compromised as the Matchbox with its metal door pillars, full metal roof and nicer looking wheels.
One of a few found at an E.leclerc recently.

With production thought to have ended anywhere between 2020 and 2022 I imagine its not a regular thing to walk into a toy shop and find new unused Loyal Bright diecasts in 2025!
That rare event did indeed happen back in January when visiting a lovely old toy shop in the centre of Vilafranca I found several, ironically on a Guisval branded stand!
I did end up grabbing three of these Porsche Cayennes as they were still priced very reasonably and the fact they are probably one of the nicest budget 1/64 Cayenne castings out there.

Metallic white now adorns the latest 2024 Case E recolour of the Matchbox Porsche Cayenne Turbo giving it a particularly clean and crisp appearance with blacked out wheels for a touch of menace.
