This is quite a complex card to make but Mum would be delighted to receive it on Mother's Day.

This card depicts a guy falling into a fish pond and scattering the fish. No apologies for the scribbled cartoon, my eye was flooding. More fish than a pond could contain, more lilies at full bloom than ever occurs in nature, the card is ridiculous. The arch that rises above the guy falling was added to fill empty space at the top of the card. After it was added, it was covered with fish to conceal the mechanism, but then ends up making the whole thing look more complicated than it actually is.
For a swap this fall, the "theme" was popups, so I guess that's not really a theme, but, you know, we were to make ATC-sized popups. I'd been a little obsessed with bees lately, so that's what I've got f/ying through my card. The sulnflowers are from the Cook's seed catalog. These have all been traded.
