This work is dedicated to the admirable people of Ukraine who bravely stand up to the barbaric Russian war criminals.
I know this is sooooooooo 1970's, but I still believe popart/Warhol rocks.
This picture is published under the creative commons license. Please feel free to use it for blogs and other things, as long as you give me credit. It would be nice if you posted the link to the publication, but it is not a must.
The 2nd Lichtenstein mosaic I've made after "Girl with Hair Ribbon" (see below). This one is 66 x 82 studs in size. Again using round 1x1 tiles to match the earlier artwork, and as a nod to the Ben-Day dot technique Lichtenstein employed. It includes a signature tile, and a Roy Lichtenstein minifig. The painting is based on a panel illustrated by Tony Abruzzo in the comic book series Girls' Romances #78.
'Girl with Hair Ribbon' - why not copy the copier? Using round 1x1 tiles as a nod to Lichtenstein's use of the Ben-Day Dot technique.
Also made a minifig to accompany the piece, I think LEGO is missing a trick not including these in their official art sets.
