Tuesday evening, July 23 2013, my friend Victor opened his (pop up) store Uncover Lab (just around the corner from my house, on Zeedijk 80), the world's first tattoo shop for objects (that you care about) and the place to buy sustainably grown bamboo products. It was a cool...no, very HOT evening.
This is a Fas Mart Express located in the parking lot of the Quarles Fleet Fueling Island at 2301 Commerce Center Dr, Rockville, VA.
This looks to be a glorified bank of vending machines installed in a modified shipping container. I've never see something like this done before, but it's certainly an interesting use of a shipping container.
Fas Mart is owned by GPM Investments, which is a subsidiary of ARKO Corp. who also owns Quarles.
At dusk this kind of food stalls, called "포장마차" [pojangmacha] pops out everywhere around the city. They look like huge lanterns animated by all sort of people in search of food, drinks and comfort after an hard working day.
They are the true soul of Seoul.

Schott 100 Plus showcased: an art installation by Search & Rescue (S+R) Dry Goods and curation by S+R and Gentlemen’s Brim. S+R also launched their BSR line of furniture alongside their “selvedge white denim” glove collaboration with Grifter Company USA. Modern50 and Carter Designs sourced thought provocative art and found objects. Custom Lifestyle displayed a unique take on repurposed materials; mixing fabrics, and detailed stitching to make one of a kind overcoats, and totes. While Milk Cult and Kool Beanz coffee provided refreshments and ice cream sandwiches. Another American icon, Bell Helmets raffled off a Custom 500 helmet and gave away t-shirts. The Schott 100 Plus experience proved why Schott NYC can confidently look forward to the next century and beyond.

Agora consegui escolher algo mais de acordo com meu gosto musical. Desde a primeira vez que usei falei que me lembrava da música, que no caso é Ruby, do Kaiser Chiefs, banda de indie rock.
Sobre o esmalte: coitado, já teve dias melhores. Porém sobrevive dignamente, já que é outro que tem quase dez anos de idade. Normalmente cobre com uma camada, mas decidi passar duas na mão esquerda, pra ver se dava muita diferença (spoiler: não deu, quem sabe interfira na durabilidade só). Uma das qualidades que eu mais admirava nele era a secagem rápida, só que, dessa vez, rolou uma nail art de lençol. E o shimmer do vidro eu nunca mais consegui enxergar na unha. Mesmo assim, sempre bom lembrar que essa cor é linda e ainda será usada mais vezes. <3
