The stairs leading to the lovely and unique Pop Up bar in Wigtown. During public holidays and events, such as the Book Festival, the family who live in this period house, move the furniture out of their upstairs lounge, move in tables, chairs and a bar serving local beer, spirits and wine. They even do cold platters using locally made produce including cheeses, smoked meats and homemade breads. The house is quirky and beautiful and we love going there. Wigtown, Dumfries and Galloway.

The development of the Kings Cross area continues at speed. One of the latest additions is a 'pop up' bar/restaurant on the site of an old petrol station. It will be around for another 18 months or so overlooking the Regent Canal.
My home town Brussels is a ( secret ) pop-up cocktail richer, the Cointreau Fizz Garden, housed in a former bank building, and it's the place to be for anyone who want to discover the Cointreau Fizz cocktail in all its variations. The cool thing is that you can style your own drinks and make your own unique cocktail !
This amazing ( abandoned ) location was redecorated in garden style by Thierry Boutemy, a floral designer of international renown. Expect floral art, vintage decorations from the 20's, an amazing impressive setting and unique art work that give the interior a poetic touch. Music by local DJ's and surprise performances are provided.
Well, if you are visiting my home town the next week, this is the place to be !
Note that this is "private" and only open 3 days a week : Thursday, Friday and Saturday, opens at 18h30 ( you need to become "member" on the website, thats all you need to get in )
As this is only a popup bar, it will close April 20th.

This wonderful frying pan of fake food is on the wall of the Pop Up bar. I asked Martin, the house owner and barman, if I could have a closer look. It is quite magnificent! He bought it from The Fake Food Workshop & Store, their website describes it as ‘where artistry, history, and craftsmanship converge to create extraordinary lifelike food replicas. Founded by award-winning sculptor and conservation expert Kerry Samantha Boyes, the workshop is nestled in the vibrant town of Kirkcudbright, Scotland.
Kerry leads a small creative team who help produce an array of diverse menus, rustic bakery produce and gleaming layers of a heritage jellies and deserts. Each creation tells a story of culinary aesthetics brought to life with meticulous detail and innovation.’
The Pop up bar serves mainly locally produced drinks. You can see the award winning gin and Vodka on the bar here. They are produced at the Galloway Distillery in Newton Stewart, where I live.

A "pop-up bar", but it's been going for most of 2013 now, so may be around for a while yet. Relocated next door to 126 Gipsy Hill in 2014 (where it's since been listed in the Good Beer Guide). No longer owned by Late Knights (who went out of business), but remained open until 2018. Reopened as the Bull and Finch in 2019 (still next door at 126).

The Sand Dollar Downtown, a bar inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas, is participating in the Sippin' Santa holiday tiki bar pop-up. We enjoyed a namesake Sippin' Santa and a Jingle Bird.
The Brickworks and Vogue Living Pop Up Cinema Bar was held on 1st September 2016. The Cinema bar was used to launch Brickworks series of short films titled 'Icons of Style'.

I'd not heard anything about this place (though they have a Twitter) and it was originally only open for 21 days (Nov-Dec 2012), and a perfectly decent place, if with a propensity for running out of ale. Turns out they are related to Slim Jim's just down the road. As of Feb 2013, they've done it up a bit and reopened permanently as just The Taproom (and more recent photos from late-2013 with signage and from 2015). Since renamed as a wine bar 163 Upper Street, then closed.

From July 1 to August 27, 2016, the ERBEN pop-up bar in Berlin-Neukölln was open every Thursday to Sunday. An urban wineyard with real Mosel flair was offered on a 450 m² roof terrace. - In addition to the wines, a varied program was offered with workshops and expert lectures on the subject of wine and enjoyment, as well as entertainment (swing dancing, poetry slam, open-air cinema, live music).

The Brickworks and Vogue Living Pop Up Cinema Bar was held on 1st September 2016. The Cinema bar was used to launch Brickworks series of short films titled 'Icons of Style'.

In der Zeit vom 01. Juli bis 27. August 2016 öffnete immer donnerstags bis sonntags die ERBEN Pop-up-Bar in Berlin-Neukölln. Auf einer 450 qm großen Dachterrasse wurde ein Urban Wineyard mit echtem Moselflair geboten. - Neben den Weinen wurde ein abwechslungsreiches Programm mit Workshops und Expertenvorträgen zum Thema Wein und Genuss, sowie Entertainment (Swing-Tanzen, Poetry Slam, Open-Air-Kino, Live-Musik) angeboten.

Late Knights opened their first bar on 26 April in what was lastly an Italian restaurant. The staff and owners of Late Knights Brewery come from a variey of backgrounds including more than one who's worked for Fullers. They plan to be opening their bar in Brockley in late June/July, and to possibly extend the life of Beer Rebellion beyond the end of July (this closure date was initially their agreed deal). Late Knights have working business relationship with Truefitt Brewing (Middlesborough) and Shamblemoose.
