An Avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) pooping in flight!
Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment or fav my images.
We all have those slip ups at one point or another. Even though this was my second visit to the Pemberville Sub, I'm still unfamiliar with traffic patterns and the subdivision itself, so this was bound to happen. Regardless, CSXT 8790 rushes under the C&O's at W.E. Pemberville.
Raptors are well know for a poop before takeoff. Also know as a slice.... they normally have a projectile poop but this Red-tailed Hawk had a droplet.

Macro Mondays: Every Day Carry
The intended and often unintended EDC. I find them in coats and purses I haven't used in years. They're with me more constantly than the actual dog!
Frame is under 2" across.
I picked up another pooping cat & tray (no plant) in a small Re-ment lot someone was selling for pretty cheap, so now I have two. It would be great to have a whole bunch of these to line up in a row :-)
Another post from my Peregrine series I really liked and it just may have been a 'fluff and poop' capture!...:) According to a reliable source, Gail, when they poop it is generally a pretty good sign a flight will follow!...FYI (for your information)...lol

I know, I know, but I'm just a wee bit weird occasionally. And there is a group for these shots, yes there is, so I'm not the only one. My poops shots are usually more creative, but this is an Osprey chick, after all, and straight on looking at it. Sorry ... sometimes I just can't help myself.
Pooper Scooper
Pet owners and parents will be able to relate to the terror, and perplexing mystery, of having to clean up poop that is disproportionate in size and quantity to the pooper.
These Monarch Caterpillars eat all day that stack their poop
in neatly manner, actually this is the only one that stacked them,
Look like pancakes:-)
Its fascinating to watch them up close their every move,
I will post a video of them eating.
