These diminutive (1.25"-1.75") black and white natives of South America are also known as marbled tree frogs (Dendropsophus marmaratus). The frog's habit of flattening themselves on top of leaves, sometimes even appearing to drip from the leaf tips, is exquisite camouflage. Predators don't bite, they don't even step on them. Interesting little frog!

Looking Close on Friday theme: homemade

I crocheted this poop along with 2 others for my husband and grandsons as all were a bit loopy with poopy at one time. I fixed them to hats and they were to be worn when golfing. I don't believe they ever wore them golfing. But they did find them funny. 3" X 2"

GPA is short for Grandpa.

Thankyou everyone for your kind comments and favs. All are greatly appreciated. HLCoF

Errrrr... and Grrrrrrr....!!!! : ) POOP!!

These things were huge. I forgot what size these were. I think may be ten or twelve inches wide. We put a few of them in the front yard at my sisters place in Roswell, NM.

We were delighted to see that a pair of Blue Tits had decided to nest in one of my homemade nest boxes in our garden. This is one of the adults removing a fecal sac from the nest. They carry it away some distance from the nest before discarding it. Taken through our lounge window.

Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment or fav my images.

We got this great pooping pig for our birthday from Nigel and Gund and George and so we took it with us when we went camping this weekend. it was really funny!

Most of you Avian lovers out there must have noticed that just before the Bird takes off it offloads it's poop and takes off on another adventure!

An appropriately-masked Purple Martin observer walks down the avenue of roosting trees with a poop-prevention parasol while listening to the cacophony of chatter and flapping wings. Stafford, Texas.

Poop in the Wendy House Garden. To soft and twisty to be hedgehog poop. Possibly too hard to be poop from a bird.

Hmmm, what a time saver - easy on the septic system as well...

Apparently, this is a popular place to... well you know.

There was more poop in this building than any I've ever seen. Human poop. It was like every bum in the city got together, had a meeting, took a vote, and declared, "Frome henceforth, bums of good standing in Beirut shall make this building the recepticle of their shits. May her strong walls shield our dumps from prying eyes. Yea verily yea"

Really, just piles of poop, everywhere.

I spied this fellow taking a load off on the corner of Forest Park and Rosedale.

Just kidding, it's a cashew falling out of its fruit. Yes, it really looks like this ( O.O )

I know, I know, but I'm just a wee bit weird occasionally. And there is a group for these shots, yes there is, so I'm not the only one. My poops shots are usually more creative, but this is an Osprey chick, after all, and straight on looking at it. Sorry ... sometimes I just can't help myself.
