Pollux is one of two "companion" tall buildings close to the Messe, or convention center, in Frankfurt. Itreaches a height of 130 meter, and has 33 floors; it is considerably taller than its "twin" Kastor. They are both the designs of the firm of Kohn Pedersen and Fox.

De chaque côté des marches qui mènent au capitole, on retrouve les statues des jumeaux Castor et Pollux.

Le capitole, haut lieu de la vie spirituelle et politique de la Rome antique, est situé sur la colline du Campidoglio. La place que l'on découvre en haut des marches fut dessinée par Michel-Ange.
